I know there are enough info on radio installs but here’s mine.
Radio is a Powerwerx DB750X. I got it for $75 like 2 years ago. It was installed in my previous Ram 2500 and 3500 before I traded that in for the JT
Typical of new vehicles we can’t throw a radio under the dash like years...
A LOL all is cool now lesson.
My 1st newJeep not my 1st Jeep by far. My 2nd one with AC and my 1st with a hard top AND AC. In all other models I’ve had, there are many sounds.
Well this one I can hear EVERTHING. Recently I had a paper get sucked into the air intake for air ricirculation...
Found this stupid thing under the dash because of sloppy install and the wire hung down. Red is tapped into OBDII line and other is grounded. The body zip tied to the moulding support.
Me being me with a dark sense of humor, let’s have some fun with it.
Stay tuned .
These were given to me around 6 years ago. I plan to put them on my Cummins powered YJ since they are square. However the yj is not ready.
Yeah, kinda not pretty. But I’m for go before show. So I don’t care. Wired into aux switches.
I googled and searched for q series on a Jeep and didn’t come...
Such a strange part to experience problems with. Those paper thin fender liners / inner fenders really, not liners.
Driving back we encountered strong head winds. I started to hear a weird howl type noise. Jeeps are weird when it comes to sounds. The noise first came and went intermittently...
Did a trip from Phoenix to San Diego and back. While driving down the road AC working fine. Then we would hear what sounded like heavy rain or sand hitting the windshield. Warm air would be felt by passenger feet and then back to cool air through the vents. Later it sounded more like a piece...
In case anyone was wondering :
Bumper is a knock off Rubi steel from eBay. The steel parts are near identical to real one. Where it cheapens out is coating and fasteners and the plastic thingies, whatever they are called.
It came with winch mount which looks and is flimsy. So yeah, don’t go...
I'm an old school Jeep guy. On my 9th Jeep if you include my FJ40 and Roxor. My 1st new Jeep is a JT and Ive driven plenty of other Jeeps along with other off road vehicles US and internationally. For work and pleasure. Since I retired last year I've gotten in to RV hauling now only drive...
…..adjust your headlights after you install a lift
No vehicle is easier than these Jeeps. It takes like less than two minutes and that’s doing it slow.
