Wife's been driving my Gladiator Overland (ordered 5/19, built 6/19, delivered 7/19) for the past week and a half while her '19 GC Ltd. is getting repaired after hitting a deer.
So, this morning she sends me a pic of the drivers side visor and, it's busted...it appears to be broken where it...
So, just got back from a trip from home, just outside West Chester, PA to Edinburg, VA (a few miles south of Woodstock, VA) and back.
Filled tank here before leaving. Got to my first refill stop in WV, along I-81 just before the VA line, and calculated only 11.1 MPGs.
I got to the camp ground...
I was today years old when I discovered that not only do I have a tilt steering column but, it also telescopes 😲 😲 😲
I've had mine for over 5 years now and never knew the steering column was both tilt and telescope. The last vehicle I had with that function was my 1972 Olds Toronado.
So, because today ONLY comes once every four years, if we buy a new Gladiator TODAY, 29 February 2024, does that mean that one year of the warranty will be gone on February 29th, 2028? So, then, three years of warranty (unless you exceed the 36K mileage requirement), your warranty would expire...
So, it was a balmy 9 degrees this morning and around 10 AM it'd warmed nicely to around 12 degrees.
So, I started my Gladiator (remote start) and let her warm up. Mind you I haven't driven her for about three days but still...
So went out to drive off and, lo-and-behold, a nice crack running...
Has anyone encountered this before?
'20 Overland, ordered 5/19, built 6/19, delivered 7/19.
We had heavy rain this past Saturday but, have had heavy rain like that before and NEVER had water in the passenger floorboard before, ever.
I checked around things like the passenger seat, DRY!!!, the...
So, back in early September, I had to have my third taillight replaced because it was out. NOT a cheap replacement item...it was like $420 to get it done because it's a 'one piece' assembly and, most of that cost was actually the part. Labor at my stealership is $180/hour.
In the interim, I...
I just got the final estimate to fix the issues with my wiring harness...which was fried leading to the flat-4/7-pin. They have to replace the ENTIRE wiring harness in my truck as well as the flat-4/7-pin connector itself.
$4,417 and change ???
They're not sure when the harness will be in and...
Well, just talked with the dealership and was told that they (in conversation with the trailer dealership...actually went there to talk to them and test my trailer too) concluded that I must've put the 7 pin plug in upside down causing the right turn signal to blink when the left one on the...
So, I went to the dealership to get my 7 pin connector checked out because the trailer dealership thought that the issue was potentially with one of the truck control modules.
Well the Jeep dealership tested everything, both the flat 4 and the 7 pin connector and didn't find anything wrong even...
So, today I hitched up my travel trailer to take it to the dealership to get inspected and ready for a trip in 2 1/2 weeks ('20 JT Overland with trailer package, built 6/19, delivered 7/19).
I plugged in my 7-pin connector to the factory plug, and before I even started my truck, I noticed the...
I had my right hip replaced two weeks (to the day) ago and trying to lift my right leg is still a problem. The joint is okay but, my entire thigh muscle feels like I was kicked by a big horse and is sore as hell. I wanna go all Mongo on that horse that kicked me!!! (Blazing Saddles reference...
Whilst I've not had an issue with my Gladiator, my '19 Grand Cherokee Ltd. has come a cropper with this issue.
Yeah, I noticed over the past month that my GC was doing a Harley and leaving her mark on my driveway...shiny evidence after a rain.
Well, today I got the oil changed on it and the...
Vehicle: 2020 Overland ordered May 2019, delivered July, 2019.
So, the first time I encountered this was when my Wife and I were in the Toronto, Ontario area over the weekend and after dinner, I got in the truck and it wouldn't detect the key fob. Earlier, I did use the remote start to warm up...
So, in past vehicles I would (when cell phones got decent cameras) try and get a pic of a mileage milestone.
For me it was when each mile marker was all the same digit like, 1,111 or 11,111 or etcetera. Well, on my Gladiator I missed the first couple of them like, the 11,111 mile mark.
Well...
So, yesterday someone on Facebook asked for the receiver height (the bottom of it) on a stock Overland with the trailer package.
Well, it's 18 1/2".
So, today, I hitched up my trailer, 27' hitch to bumper, to get ready for a trip and just outta curiosity measured the receiver bottom height...
WAY cool video as they test drive some concept Jeeps including the all electric Magneto. There's even a Jeepster Commander concept in there. Enjoy ? ? ? ? ?
This is a sad day for not only Ukraine but the world as a whole.
I know it's a little closer to me than most as my Wife is from Ukraine and we have family and friends there.
So, just keep that beautiful country in your thoughts and prayers that their soldiers can repel the russian onslaught...
