  1. Door storage solution

I didnt realize it was only a foot- not so bad, though with my luck and grace Im sure I could still make that injury happen! Wall space is probably my bigger issue- my 30x40 holds my JT, wifes JL, boat, 2 atvs, and my John Deere 3320- along with its 5ft tiller, post hole digger, loader with 6ft...
  2. New York Sunrider for Hardtop

Arkport- 1hr south of Rochester/ west of Elmira.
  3. New York Sunrider for Hardtop

    Reduced- now $600.
  4. Overall who's pretty pleased with the power output of their Gladiator

I understand- but how do you keep yourself from driving it? My JT is 3 months old and 4k miles in. Its supposed to be my 2nd/ weekend truck, but I cant make myself drive my other truck instead... No way I could make 3.5 years under 15k miles, hell I‘d do that in just ice cream trips!
  5. New York Sunrider for Hardtop

Selling a like new Bestop Sunrider for hardtop, premium Black Twill material, part 52452-17. Will fit JT or JL. Installed on my JT for less than a month, absolutely loved it- only selling because I came across a deal on the full factory soft top. Complete with all hardware, is assembled- will...
  6. Overall who's pretty pleased with the power output of their Gladiator

Im not sure this logic works out. Leasing companies are usually pretty good at predicting what the residual value will be at lease end- hard to believe they would miss the mark by $15k. Now if you are not driving it at all to keep the mileage way under the lease to stay ahead on residual you...
  7. Overall who's pretty pleased with the power output of their Gladiator

Very happy with mine. Its no race car, but on a daily basis I dont feel a real need for anything more. I also have a 2018 F150 with the 3.5 ecoboost and 10 speed trans. The F150 ecoboost is crazy powerful and scary quick for a 1/2 ton, but the 10 speed is clunky and not as enjoyable as the...
  8. Hard Top vs. Sunrider for Hardtop vs. Soft Top: A review of all options

So I have found myself in the unique and fortunate position of owning a Hard top, Bestop Sunrider for Hardtop and a Premium Soft Top. First I will say this happened totally by accident, through coming across deals I couldnt pass up. No I am not keeping all options. First the Hardtop. Not much...
  9. Door storage solution

Like the way these hold the doors- but am I the only one who sees themselves throwing a tantrum after accidentally walking into them while they're empty?
  10. Twill soft top prices.

Sorry no help on dealer pricing, but If I were you I would patiently keep watch on fb marketplace, craigslist, this forum etc... I unexpectedly bought one new in box never opened yesterday for $750 (owner bought dual top group and didn't want).
  11. Gladiator Mojave vs Rubicon Suspension Flex Test (RTI - Ramp Travel Index)

For me the lack of a front locker and 1000lb less towing are the biggest deal breakers on the Mojave. I'm sure I don't really need the sway disco, but I would really miss that front locker. Still think the Rubicon is the best value JT, unless you plan on building up with a big lift etc...
  12. REAR ENDED - THIS IS A TANK

Not saying it's not impressive, and I do think the JT is very well built, but it looks like the low Honda bumper and hood saved you. I'd definitely try to get the new hitch if you can- I was rear ended with my F150 last year while towing my boat- hitch looked fine until they unbolted it to fix...
  13. Is it me, or does the JT really struggle...

Do you have the premium audio group? Fixed that problem for me...
  14. Gladiator most underrated, misunderstood vehicle on the road.

After owning my JTR for only about a month, I can say even as a decided buyer I didnt understand or appreciate just how good of a vehicle it is. In the first month Ive taken a 6 hour road trip with my wife and 2 kids, carried 4 adult coworkers for work trips, done some mild off-roading, towed...
  15. Can’t decide, need reviews from others.

Im more impressed by the day. 1800 miles on mine so far, they honestly ride better than the ATs. Had them in 8 inches of melting snow/ice/mud and water today for about 10 miles (thawing seasonal roads), never a problem, didnt even get to use 4 low. When they do slip they continue to grab and...
  16. School a Toyota guy on reliability

I've given up on trusting the various ratings- J.D Power etc... like others have said they are bought awards and not a true reflection of real reliability. I have owned 3 Ram trucks, a Charger, a Durango, and now a JL and a JTR. In addition I've also had a few Toyota and Chevy cars, and also...
  17. Can’t decide, need reviews from others.

Have had great luck with General Grabber ATX (and the older AT2 model). I have the AT3W wildpeaks on my F150 and I haven't been terribly impressed. Not as good on snow/ice as the ATX, and they ride a bit more rough when cold/ after sitting, they are the E rated version. Im actually more...
  18. Bed cover on the cheap! (From Chevy Colorado)

Understand wanting to save a bit with this cover at a great price- but losing the trail rails would be a no go for me. I went with the access literider, has version specifically for the JT with trail rails, and will work with some bed racks (jcr offroad for sure) when I eventually add that later...
  19. off road plus

Yep- Ill be crawling through the yard tomorrow testing this stuff out!
  20. off road plus

My impression is that it changes throttle response, possibly shift points and brings up off road pages on the uconnect. Not sure if there are other features that Im not aware of, I know at one point it was mentioned allowing rear diff lock, front open in 4 high, but im not sure where that...
