Check out Advance Adapters for engine to transmission adapter bellhousings. I used them several years ago to mate my CJ transmission with a FI GM 350.
I received the system update message today and did the download this morning and got the system update was successful message. I have the SmartStopStart installed and no issues.
Glade the recall was OTA, I only would have had this recall done at the dealer if I was going in for something else.
For how I use my auto Rubicon JT I'm content with the power. Yes, I would have ordered a more powerful engine option if it would have been available. Obviously, if I was concerned with fuel milage then the Gladiator is the wrong vehicle.
There could be a more powerful engine option offered...
Best possible fuel economy per the specific vehicle is the manufacturer forced main goal. 4.10 gears and less one or two ODs may make more enjoyable driving experience in the Ranger but at a MPG penalty.
I was assuming my JT behaved the same (assuming is bad) as my 2018 JL. It is good to know that the JT can be jumped started with a defective auxiliary battery without needing the jumper.
Do the newer JL behave like the JT in this regards, or do they still behave like my 2018 JL did?
