I'm looking at AMW4x4 website, don't see a 5.7L Hemi swap option, only the 6.4L. Is it an off the menu item? And, i know you've said a range of $30-$35k but is it like $35K with the all the things included in the 6.4L swap that they have for $36k, so it's a $1k difference? THANKS! I'm looking at...
I ran a stock JTR on Fins and things over Thanksgiving. You can watch YouTube on what that trail entails. I got high centered 3 times (just stacked rocks under front wheels and drove right off) and scratched the tow receiver and rear bumper more times than i can count. End of day, the truck...
You are correct. Can’t fit hardly anything else inside that mini. Some light bedding but not much. The latches to close the thing are not meant to be used to pull it tight either. I bought a couple $12 clamps. Work great. But it’s a thing extra that sucks since it’s a $3500 tent. Good luck!
It did come down to roofnest vs iKamper as each were same size footprint. Talked to Lee at Altitude Industries here in Denver. He convinced me IKamper was a better made product. Roofnest made In China. Cheaper parts. Harder to get fixed. IKamper made in South Korea. Give him a call!
Excellent stuff man. Thanks. I’ve been worried about weight. Axle shafts. Splines. And the axles themselves. Didn’t know 35.5” on the Toyo’s RT. I like that. More than a 35” (which are usually 34.5” and smaller than the 36.5”s). Thanks!
What custom springs in the rear? I have a rld topper and RTT as well. No lift yet. Looking. Anything with the axles yet to go with those 37” tires? Steering stabilizer? How about the spare. Fit under? Thanks?
Awesome set up. How much height did you add with the rock krawler lift and 37’s? I’m looking at that and the metalcloak 3” lift. You like the 4 link rear? Spare fits? I got the RLD topper and iKamper mini. That’s added a lot of height.
Did fins and things_porcupine rim campsite_hidden canyon overlook via 3D. Loads of tow hitch scraping on stock JTR. Loads. A tad rock slider snd got high centered on F&T but stacked rocks and slid off. 137” wheel base is a bitch. Our friends had a stock 4Runner and scraped one time.
