Rebel gets my nod. They did a spring lift and 33ās with spacers on my JKUR. Minor stuff but no problems. Thereās a handful of shops in HB but they cater to all makes. I tried getting a quote from one of them (canāt remember the name) but every time I called I got a different number. Stick with...
813 Fabrication. They supply a nut that you need to try to work up from under the bed. Also comes with a rubber spacer to go between the back of the Molle panel and bed. I decided to go with a nutsert. M12 or 7/16 works...
M12 rivnut here. On the other side there's an M12 rivnut in the bed with an M12 X 1.5" bolt . Even if you don't have bed rails there are three M6 threaded holes in the bed. See attached pics. Nothing hits the outside metal
Only happens when parked on an incline if my parking brake isn't cinched up real tight. My driveway slope is about 3 degrees (5%) according to off road pages. My parking brake needed adjustment but I guess it needs a few more turns.
FWIW it happened on my JKUR and that went over 80,000 miles...
I havenāt heard about this yet for JTās but definitely an issue on JKās. My ā16 JKUR leaked on the passenger side about even with the side view mirror. I bought some adhesive backed weather stripping and added it over the door seals. Problem solved.
Bolt hood lock (a hair over $100)
Dead pedal
1ā foam pipe insulation between the seats and console (saves having to dive under to find dropped stuff).
My setup:
BatteryMINDer 1500, Pollak 11-896 7 way power adapter, 12 V cigarette lighter to SAE plug adapter.
Back the JT up into my driveway and plug in to the 7 pin trailer outlet.
Try callimg this number 833-263-3857. It's direct to Mopar. I'm in SoCal. They sold me a Maxcare last July and matched the dealer price. Good for Florida too as I recall. Problem is in Cali, insurance needs to be sold by a licensed broker and thay consider Maxcare an insurance policy.
First try was not successful. This time I managed to feel my way to the adjustment nut with a 10mm long socket on a 10 inch extension and hand tighten, I probably could have gone a little further but for now it's holding on my driveway that has a slight incline.
Reviving this thread. Happened to me this week. At first the JT wasn't holding on sloped driveways. Then, on Friday I yanked the handle and there was absolutely no resistance. Nearly yanked the handle off the pivot. I'm not nimble enough (spinal fusion) to get down and see clearly but I raised...
I was alarmed as well. On my first Wave oil change the service order said filled with 6 quarts. I checked some threads here and found it not such a big deal to run one quart over. The dip stick looked a little high but I agree that when the techs dispense the oil if it goes a hair over 5 quarts...
