I had a JK with a 6-speed and the 3.6 was very underwhelming. With the Gladiator’s 8-speed auto I am very happy with the output. Transmissions make a night and day difference. Of course I wouldn’t complain with an affordable 5.7 from the factory..…… @JeepCares

if I am not mistaken, truck beds are made by forming/shaping a giant flat piece of metal, bending it all into place, and welding it together. Those are probably areas where some type of mounting plate or hook was attached for the forming process. Nothing to worry about.

These were $1100 on EBAY from a Jeep dealer at one point. Maybe check there. Otherwise you can get a better kit for cheaper or the same price with the aftermarket. I had a JKS kit INSTALLED with added front LCAs for $1800. It comes with a front track bar where the Mopar kit doesn’t.

Sounds like you don’t have an option other than take delivery of it with issues. Then it will sit in another shop getting fixed by someone who doesn’t know the truck’s history. Relax and let them fix it. Grab you a cool can of Chill and enjoy life.
