I've run the Goodyear Duratrac 35x12.5x17's. Their listed weight was within about four pounds heavier that the stock Falken Wildpeak M/T (I think it was 66 lbs compared to 62), and I've had good luck with performance and longevity on several vehicles.
I had a question about the Fox remote res shocks on the 2022 Gladiator Mojave. I've had a JK, and a Diesel Rubicon JT, so familiar with mods and design, however, I was wondering about any kind of lift on the Mojave. I have a set of remote res rear Icon shocks on another vehicle, and they will...
Some of my driving has been on 2 lane highways where the speed limit is 55, so in keeping with the flow of traffic you are between 55 and low 60's. This seems to be the "sweet spot" for the EcoDiesel (55-62 specifically). On the freeway, much of my driving is up in the mountains with some...
For quite some time I've had an issue with the start/stop function not being available with the dash message saying "not available, system charging". Now I'm not going to get into the discussion about the pros and cons of the start/stop function as I know the arguments, but that is not the...
I ended up drilling through the plating of the lower protector and then the frame. I used the self threading screw on this hole. On the middle hole I used a rivet nut insert and a spacer and M6 stainless bolt.
I am installing a set of Fox 2.5's on my 2021 Gladiator Rubicon EcoDiesel. I have a Fab Fours stubby bumper already installed. There is a little difference between the bumper and the frame mount. I figure a spacer would even out the mounting surface, but I was wondering if anyone has this...
This is a diesel gladiator issue. I spoke with the guys at Clayton, and a couple other YouTubers. All have said to cut the bolt (on the diesel) and put in a new bolt. Apparently the exhaust on the gas version is not in the way so no cutting involved.
I ordered a 2.5 overland lift kit from Clayton Offroad. I've watched some of the videos out there on installation, but only recently found one that was installed on a EcoDiesel. The video was posted by DirtLifestyle on YouTube. At approximately 12:28 in the video he starts talking...
Thanks for the reply. I upgraded to the Fox through shaft steering stabilizer almost immediately, and I noticed a difference over stock. I went to the Black Rhino Kelso wheels with a zero offset, setting the tires about an inch or so out of the wheel well. I think the wider stance gave me a...
I realize I could post a lift kit question in another section of the forum, but since my question is specific to the diesel Gladiator I wanted to put it here.
I have been looking at several options to do a moderate lift kit onto my EcoDiesel Gladiator Rubicon - specifically around the 2-2.5"...
I had to make a Costco run today, and while strolling through the isles I came across a display of 2.5 gallon jugs of Peak Blue DEF. I noticed the price was just under $10. About a week ago I paid in the neighborhood of $30 for almost the same jug of Mopar DEF. While I knew there were...
I realized I did some updates on another thread I started, but I didn't copy that information to this thread.
The original issue was diagnosed (to a point) as being a buildup of particulates they only commonly see with high mileage, but the service writer guy said they found some information...
In my first few months of ownership I have had a few issues that I hope was fixed when a crack in the fuel filter housing was found and replaced. During those issues I had the check engine light come on, but at the time it occurred I wasn't able to see what the issue was. When I returned home...
I think one of the things people overlook when making the change to a tire larger size is re-calibrating their system. From the factory the automatic transmission is specifically "married" to whatever tire size is on that model of the JT (Rubicon, Sport, etc). When you alter the size of the...
Should have worded it a little better. What I was trying to convey is basically they're betting on you putting an average of 10-12,000 miles a year for the first three years which equates to one free service per year (with the diesel maintenance being at 10,000 mile intervals). If you are a...
Thought I'd add my experiences in the roughly 4000 miles I've put on the diesel Gladiator Rubicon (w/tow package) in the last 3 months, and a few comments from a previous Jeep I owned.
We have a 15ft travel trailer that is about 2000lbs with all the gear. We live in Northern Nevada and spend...
Actually, with the new Jeep "Wave" program put out for 2021 there is a bumper to bumper unlimited mile warranty for the first 3 years (even though some of the stickers still said 36,000, they came out with the new program with unlimited for the 2021 models), and a 5 year 100,000 mile warranty...
