Pay close attention. I know you are from Ohio and your brain is probably frozen to your skull and your angry b/c you you live in a dreary hell for six months out of the year. The other 6 months are just hell. Your argument is "no one in their right mind would do x." Great argument hope your not...
Continue to ignore the obvious and take things out of context because you really have no argument to the contrary. If you think the Gladiator Sport without an single option is only going to come within $2,000 or less than the current JLU Sport, which is the only way its stays in the low 30k...
Confused about what? Do you know more than I do? You think its going to be $30 K I don't. Unless you are secretly executive at FCA your just as confused as me.
My heart says yes, my mind says that's a really dumb thing to do. I like everyone else am purely speculating. Hopefully I'm wrong. But from what I read and seen I think this is going to be a really expensive truck. Look at the price people were willing to pay for conversions a couple years ago...
No I don't think the Ranger is strictly a lifestyle truck. Unless a $24,000 2 door 2 wheel drive truck is your idea of a "lifestyle". Seeing as your from Ohio it might be (I kid kind of, I was born there and still have family there thank god my parents had the sense to move away when I was 3)...
Yeah actually there's plenty of em. If you actually read the post the key word is "could." But Mercedes will never try to compete with Jeep in the US. My guess is they would see doing so as beneath them. Just as in my opinion Jeep has no intention of trying to compete with rest of the "midsize"...
Yeah but some people buy $200 butter knives (see Tiffany's). Mercedes could easily make a $40,000 G wagon and seriously compete with Jeep Wrangler but they choose not to. Jeep could easily make a 2 door 2 wheel drive entry level Gladiator and try to sell it to Fleet buyers as every other midsize...
My guess is they sell everyone they make. People seem to think the Gladiator is in competition with every other mid size truck. It's and I quote "going to be intentionally expensive." It's a "lifestyle" truck (whatever that means) which the Ranger also claims to be but its not. I highly doubt my...
I've said it before and caught a lot of heat over it, but I have a feeling there's going to be a lot of sad people out there when the price is revealed. My guess is a Sport optioned out with the max tow is going to come in close to $50,000 before you can get it off the lot.
Not really and apples to apples comparison, but you're technically correct. There is 1 trim level of the JT that will tow 7,650. IMHO to option out a Sport to tow 7650 will cost somewhere north of $50,000. If you want to compare base level trims (i.e. Ranger WT 7,500 max tow vs. Sport 4,500 max...
Looks like the sport with the max tow package is the way to go for me. Now the cost. If its more than a Silverado Trail Boss I'm out. Love Jeeps 1997 TJ is the only car I've ever owned since I was 16 (now 34). But can't justify paying more for a midsize with less capability for my needs, I'm not...
