I built a bit on @szech713 original design, and added the Jeep, Rubicon, Mojave, and Willys logos to them. Here's a link to the files, and a couple pictures of the Rubicon one I printed for myself, along with a couple of the other backs I made as test prints.
Jeep Wrangler and Gladiator JL/JT...
Hate the be the bearer of bad news, but that's not a Launch Edition. LE's were not available in that color, and they have a black leather dash panel instead of the red painted ones. What you have is a regular Rubicon that someone added the LE badge to.
@AmosMoses Benny is spot on. You need the new bracket he listed, and then to reroute the wiring. The wiring in old grill goes down one of the solid bars, which the new style grille doesn’t have. What I did was use zip ties to run it along the top of the grille so it would be out of sight, then...
Oh look, another shit on someone else's Jeep post 🙄
The way I do it is to fill up when it tells me it needs more, and keep on driving getting my 18-19MPG. I'm really surprised you're seeing that low pulling a trailer. Based on the diesel bragging I'd figure it was closer to 20.
I disagree completely as does my truck. I was running 35" Wildpeak AT3Ws that weighed 71 pounds each. I swapped them for 37 KO2s that are 65 pounds. That 6 pounds per tire made a big difference in the truck. I lost almost no power despite going up in size, and I actually gained fuel economy...
Yeah, they attach just like the nets do. You have to remove the door panel, drill the plastic rivets out, remove the net and frame, and then they attach in place of them using the same mounting points and push nuts. I should have taken a picture of the back before I put it back together.
You shouldn't need an alignment, just recenter your steering wheel. One suggestion I would make is to add the Mopar lift kit LCAs as well. I added them to mine and it definitely helped the steering feel better with the added caster. You can pickup a pair for $60-70.
Brand new set of Diode Dynamics clear LED side marker lights for a JL Wrangler or JT Gladiator. Box was only opened to inspect them, but they were never removed from the box or installed. Knew they are $99, asking $50 for them. I can hand off in Front Royal/Winchester VA or during the week in...
The glass is covered for 3/36k, if someone told you different, they are incorrect. Mine and many others in this thread have been fixed beyond 1/12k but before 3/36k.
I can't speak to the Badlands specifically, but on my Warn Evo it's a ton of difference. Nothing rubs the grille anymore, and I can easily slide the grille in and out without having to move the winch.
I saw a set for sale over on the JL forum, he's in MA:
Massachusetts - Snazzberry Mopar Half doors with premium uppers , never used still in boxes $4500 | Jeep Wrangler Forums (JL / JLU) -- Rubicon, 4xe, 392, Sahara, Sport - JLwranglerforums.com
There's also a set for sale on eBay, but that...
I agree with all your comments, except the very last part. Most states require trailer brakes for anything 3000 pounds or over and I certain you wouldn’t hesitate to tow a 3000 pound trailer with a Gladiator. Additionally a lot of us have off road campers in the 2000-3000 pound range that also...
