As the title says, what is everyone doing to fix this? I got down and notice some that one of my control arm bolts was not tight. Gladiator has 40K miles on it. I pulled the bolt to check and saw that the hole was pretty badly wallowed out. Well, that's not good.
So, I pulled all of the lower...
So, the Double Throwdown actually flexes slightly less than their coilover only setup. That's due to the limit of of the bypass shock. The DT is really designed for folks that like to go fast offroad. The combination of coilover and bypass shock reduces shock fade and provides tons of...
I grabbed a pair of Graco Tranzitions 3in1 for my Jeeps. They are lightweight. Easy to install and remove, and they give lots of legroom for the kids. But, we mostly transport the kids in my wife's 4runner which has the bigger bulkier seats.
Really just depends on the typical trails you do. I was rolling with a nice mix of Jeeps. My JKU is on 40s. 1 tons. long arm, etc. There were some obstacles that I was walking right over that a built LJ was having trouble with. And then there were some other spots where he was able to navigate...
Without a solid axle front, I'd argue there is no point to the Gladiator. Not everything has to have the most perfect road manners. The Gladiator is supposed to be the best offroader that lets you do truck things. Not a truck that lets you do some offroad things.
I wonder if Stellantis even wants the Gladiator stick around. They treat it as an afterthought anyway. I'm thinking they will milk it as long as possible and dump it without a new model.
yea, you're right. i'm just saying Stellantis has directly told this to people on standard unmodified vehicles. it's just crazy to me that this is where we are now. it's like we swung too far to the "customer is always right" nonsense. now, we are swinging all of the way the other direction to...
The problem is Stellantis will say that stealerships are independent. So, they have not control over what the stealerships do. If they decide not to do warranty work, Stellantis claims they cannot make them. It's 100% BS. But, these big corporations have decided that screwing over a few people...
I really like that. My JK is my hardcore offroader. My JT is more for work and overlanding stuff. I like to keep the tires tucked. This seems perfect. What lift are you on?
