I owned mine since Sept 19' and have no interest in getting rid of it anytime soon.
The only comment I could agree to is it is over priced imo, but so isn't everything else! smh
I recently was in the same boat and ended up with x-at's which so far I've been impressed with
very solid tire, The only real unknown I feel is how long they'll last but 45.000 isn't bad
no telling when all the other tires become available again either could be a month or 6
Could be tire pressure too high, balanced inadequately or alignment issues that creep up more when changing tire size
all these things should be looked at closely before a steering stabilizer, however I do agree in getting a better one than the stock, but not as the initial fix!
I really really wanted the Toyo Open country AT3's, but couldn't find any in stock in the size I wanted
so I ended up with a hybrid tire the Yokohama geolander X-at !
I think it's trial and error, everyone drives on different terrains with different suspensions and different tires! you'll just need to experiment what works best for you!
One thing to keep in mind is your tire and wheel weights, there a lot of heavy tire and wheel combos out there, also hub centric wheels that do not require anything special to mount to the axle, that will knock your options down a bit.
when wheel shopping look for 5x127 bolt pattern, rim size...
just curious about getting in and out of the cab?, I'll be 1 inch taller when my lift goes on in a few
weeks, thinking I might need to add steps but would rather not!
Unfortunately I can not comment yet, still waiting for my order. With the lift it self I don't think you'd notice much of a difference, may even be better, but it would depend more on the shocks and whatever tires you choose to go along with it !
maybe some one else will chime in who has first...
yea, there a bunch of us having the same thoughts, I decided on the 2.5 and when talking to Clayton they said the 2.5 will be more like 3" so with 37's and extra close to 2" figured was good enough for my needs. That should net me around 5" overall. Going 3.5 is recommend to replace front drive...
