I figured that out a long time ago. Tried to attach this magnetic sticker to the tailgate.
Had to put it on the side. Fail to understand why Jeep did that. Save a few pennies I guess.
No problem @PapaChop83. I think it may be as simple as a moulded in “L” shaped frame bracket on both sides that has a hole in them to mount the fog lights. Did not see that on any pictures of their newest bumper. And they may have had them on the older bumper(green Jeep). My speculation.
Nope @PapaChop83 I’ve already seen that. Those bracket things go behind the front fender flares in case your factory fog lights won’t mount there. They are not for a center pair of fog lights.
Ok folks now time for detective work step two:
Who can point me to the fog light mount that’s on this bumper? I checked everyone’s sites for those that sell this bumper and no on offers these middle mount fog lights as an option and no one has pictures of any middle mount fog lights. They all...
Yesterday member @WhatExit? posted this picture in the orange discontinued thread. He just found this picture on the internet and does not know the brand of this front bumper. Hey @Rob_Quadratec I could not find this front bumper on your website. Do you sell it? Do you know what brand bumper it...
I have a little update about this. Spoke to a guy from Speed Dawg today. The manufacturer has a copy of my email with my simple suggestion idea about how to reduce the ball height, just make the threads of the transmission shifter adapter go all the way down to the bottom of that adapter...
I am waiting for a written quote to have power locks added to my truck. A local car stereo shop does this. Should be around the same cost. Looking to have it done early next week. They plan to put in disconnects on each door no problem. Will advise once it’s done and installed. And by the way I...
Thanks to that offer. Will PM you. And I think you may be right. You are on the west coast and I am on the east coast, may be a pretty penny to truck it across America.
Thanks for the info and the link. The Warn guard is the same diameter tube. So you should be able to use the Mopar light brackets to mount fog lights to it. I am leaning to that Warn guard, like its looks.
Actually both bumpers will accept a winch. On the one I have been talking about you pop the center front section out and that’s where the winch cable out of. And on the top center of the bumper you remove the center plate so the top of the winch can go through that top center section of the bumper.
Thanks @George D. Much appreciated and a great price that has free delivery. And for everyone’s info I just had a on line chat with someone from Mopar parts and they told me that you can put a winch inside this bumper. Passing this in in case anyone else is thinking of doing this. Checking on a...
