  1. 3.6 pentastar 2020 major problems - Is the newer engine better in 2025 etc.

DAVECS2, I run RPMs above 2500 constantly (37's w5.13s and a 6spd) My cruise rpm at 75 is near 2600 and I haven't had a single issue with this jeep. I did have both intake cams on a mostly stock JK replaced at 40k miles. Mine JT only runs about 200* water temp until I'm stuck in traffic for...
  2. Help a dummy out with offset and spacer options.

Ok, so this isn't a inward bent control arms will fix it issue. The wheels you like are the stock Willys wheels. A 1.25" wheel spacer will fix all your issues. Factory wheels can accommodate a smaller spacer, there are lug pockets in the wheel mounting surface for them.
  3. Help a dummy out with offset and spacer options.

Which 3.5" lift do you have? Stock wheels are 7.5" wide +44 offset.
  4. Suspension issues/begging for help

Do you have adjustable rear control arms too? That thrust angle needs addressed once you find what is loose up front. If you can't get the tires dynamically balanced, they will cause DW. I've seen a couple with 80+ pounds of road force. That force will cause issues on a solid axle rig. If...
  5. Care to help diagnose my death wobble?

That's pretty normal.. the pitman arm joint is a bear to get off..
  6. Suspension issues/begging for help

I couldn't find any play with a pry bar, but when I pulled them apart to replace with Metal Cloak Baller joints, they were floppy with almost no resistance to them. Also, check the 4 bolts that hold your steering box on. Mine were loose from the factory.
  7. Suspension issues/begging for help

Ball joints are likely toast. Do you still have factory steering?
  8. Amp for aftermarket speaker

Just curious, does the amp you used have an RCA for sub frequencies? I keep hoping someone will make an easy button to amplify all the cabin speakers and give sub RCAs to keep it super simple.
  9. Aftermarket Cams

That's the one we need. $275 on Jegs. Not bad!
  10. Aftermarket Cams

Those are JK wrangler cams. They won't work for the JL/JT.
  11. Upgrade from 2.5 to 3.5

No extended fronts needed with the Clayton 3.5. Mine are plenty long stock until your front shocks are over 29.5" extended.
  12. Shock lengths how much is to much

Rears are typically longer, but go on Clayton's website and look at their recommendations for the fox 2.0s for their 2.5" lift. That should get you a pretty close starting point. If those fronts are the same length (26.5") look at their recommendation for their 3.5" kit. You may have to add...
  13. Shock lengths how much is to much

28" extended length in the front is generally safe for the front driveshaft. At 28.5" you will oblong the collar on the CV.
  14. 4.5 inch or 6 inch lift recommendations?

Man, please look at the dates on posts. You keep bringing back threads that are 3+ years old.

    That's awesome! Thanks
  16. Learn Me Please. Triangulated 4 links.

Currently running Clayton 3.5" rear springs, but I'm totally open to changing whatever needs to be changed. Long term plans were to move to either king or fox 2.5s
  17. coil touching frame in the rear

Measure from the tire to the frame on both sides. See if those numbers are the same.. if they aren't, adjust the trackbar.
  18. !!!NEW Product!!! Quake Led FLUSH Taillights are live! Featuring B.A.S.S. Technology - QMT1538

I wouldn't buy them either.. not my style. But someone might.
  19. !!!NEW Product!!! Quake Led FLUSH Taillights are live! Featuring B.A.S.S. Technology - QMT1538

You would transfer the sensors, yes, but giving them somewhere to live in the new light adds production costs.
  20. !!!NEW Product!!! Quake Led FLUSH Taillights are live! Featuring B.A.S.S. Technology - QMT1538

JL/JT has the option of the blindspot monitoring. It's housed in the tail lights.
