  1. Massive Harbor freight jack stands recall

God, I wish things were made in the USA again! Things were built correctly and seldom recalled.
  2. No bed power? No problem! $9.99 do it yourself.

I followed the frame of the vehicle directly to the engine compartment and Aux 3 connection point with my wires inside flexible conduit. Conduit ziptied using existing connection points and following existing wiring. This will offer you the most protection in the case of a meltdown/overload...
  3. No bed power? No problem! $9.99 do it yourself.

Cigarette outlets are intended for 12 volts, 15 amps, 180 watts. Anything beyond those figures, something is going to go wrong. Wire gauge on cigarette outlets is most often 14, 16, or 18 - length of run dictates gauge. If you are using the 40 amp aux switch wire, you would be looking at a...
  4. Iron Rock 2 Inch Lift Kit Installed

Pretty sure in the second video he's running 255/75R17 (BF Goodrich Mud Terrains). A great place to compare tire sizes is here: https://tiresize.com/calculator/ Use the tire comparison tab and you can compare two sizes together.
  5. Jeep invites you to the first ever Jeep Brand digital livestream roundtable

If you can, let me know if the addition improves steering. Can you post the link to the stabilizer?
  6. Jeep invites you to the first ever Jeep Brand digital livestream roundtable

'Jeep Wander' needs to be addressed. Around town and on trails, it's manageable. On the highway, it can be a white knuckle experience. Wider tires have helped a little, but its still there. This is my only complaint about current production models. I'm constantly sawing on the wheel with...
  7. No bed power? No problem! $9.99 do it yourself.

Unfortunately, Jeep did not pre-wire the bed - that would have been nice. I used the Aux Switch (# 3) wiring myself - wire found under the hood next to the battery. I used a shrink boot over the back of the cigarette lighter plug and electric tape to seal everything and ran the wires inside of...
  8. Iron Rock 2 Inch Lift Kit Installed

Thread on getting a full size spare and placing it in the storage well: https://www.jeepgladiatorforum.com/forum/threads/recommendations-on-18-inch-wheel-for-spare.28626/ Beware of the 1 1/4 inch bolt sticking down which could scratch your rim.
  9. Specs on Overland Center Cap?

I think I may have found the answer - 63mm
  10. 285/75R18 PSI?

Running at 38 presently. Still playing with pressure.
  11. Iron Rock 2 Inch Lift Kit Installed

Spent 10 hours going from FL to NC and another 10 coming back. Unfortunately, I was pulling a small trailer on the highway so I can't provide highway mpg at this time. Tires performed well in rain and excellent on gravel and mud. Sawing on the wheel was somewhat reduced as previously stated -...
  12. Recommendations on 18 inch wheel for spare

Found a Jeep Overland wheel on ebay and can confirm drop cable clears the center hole (just barely). 285/75R18 (34.8 tall) Falken Wildpeak tire mounted and fits in wheel well perfectly. Be aware, there is a bolt that sticks down about 1 1/4 inches under the bed in the wheel well and a...
  13. BILLET SILVER Gladiator JT Club

Iron Rock 2 inch lift, DT8000 Prerunner shocks, Falken Wildpeak 285/75R18 tires
  14. 285/75R18 PSI?

Thanks. Just put some across town miles on it and PSI should come down - getting same gas mileage with 3 inch taller tires - likely running too much on centers. I was expecting a .5 to 1 mpg drop.
  15. 285/75r18

Check these two threads I'm running: https://www.jeepgladiatorforum.com/forum/threads/iron-rock-2-inch-lift-kit-installed.28591/ https://www.jeepgladiatorforum.com/forum/threads/falken-wildpeak-285-75-r18-price-drop-224-50.28546/
  16. Falken Wildpeak 285/75/R18 price drop - $224.50

I think you will like the tires - price is right, look is right, performance (so far) is right. They should fit any Gladiator with 18 inch wheels without a lift - saw several posts with people running the same size without lift. If you do any serious off road driving or go to full shock...
  17. 285/75R18 PSI?

Update: Running at 40 PSI. Will wear test and update post with any PSI adjustments if needed.
  18. Falken Wildpeak 285/75/R18 price drop - $224.50

Iron Rock 2 inch lift kit and DT8000 shocks - Falken Wildpeak 285/75R18 tires Running a thread on install thoughts here with additional pics: https://www.jeepgladiatorforum.com/forum/threads/iron-rock-2-inch-lift-kit-installed.28591/ Glad I got the tires! Would strongly recommend to anyone...
  19. Iron Rock 2 Inch Lift Kit Installed

Here's some pics of the vehicle post-install - new tires installed (285/75R18): The jeep handles much better with wheel sawing slightly reduced. Tires are set to 40PSI and I'll adjust that later for better performance if needed. Tires grip nicely and road noise is minimal - really...
