99' Suzuki TL1000s
16' Canyon Diesel but the torque converter issue is a never ending thing / one day I do plan to get a JTRD....one day.
If I didn't need a bed I would still own my '12 Toyota FJ
Most impressive! Before I became a Drill Instructor at Parris Island I worked with a retired Marine that was also a DI back in the 50's at PI. He said the Commandant came to PI and had a gathering at the O-Club and the only people that showed up were the officers and senior enlisted. Shortly...
Coming from 3.73’s and I don’t climb any rocks or pull a heavy load, I’d wait for a 4.10. Your dealer should be able to find one for sure “you’d think”
I went to buy a Max tow, it sold prior to me getting there ... I bought the only stingrey on the lot out of 30 JT’s.
I wish I’d waited for...
Well....Im bringing this up from the dead I added Spicer gears ro my JT and while I was chatting with the owner of the place I mentioned LSD. He said yukon but he doesn't deal with Yukon any longer. I told him that Spicer had part# 10071926...but I cant order it. He told me he couldn't...
post above is...fuggn legit, I have the same JT that my brother has "other than different color" riding the same roads "speed limit" as he and he was getting 3-4 mpgs more than I. It could happen....I get that...maybe.
However I was stock everything, he had Rubi suspension and...
I’m running 35’s as well with an auto & 4.56. Shows the difference from auto to MT.
Even though I’m geared lower and going 3mph faster our rpms are roughly the same.
Our mpgs aren’t too far apart either.
Edit: hell, even out fuel gauges are almost the same, LOL
@Snzzbry_Ovrlnd
I used Dana Spicer and they ended up costing me $200 or so more than the other that the owner he was offering to install.
It was $2400.
I know some have paid less, but down here in Louisiana there aren't many people that do this and I had to go 2.5 hours south and drop it...
@BAT
I believe some are re-gearing due to towing heavier loads and doing so at elevation or some are eventually planning to go to 37's as well. However most are staying at 4.10 with 35's and the JT's are doing quite well. If I had 4.10's "with my auto" I would have not changed my gearing...
@Havoc_Six
To be honest there is so much you can do to personalize to be yours, the sky “pocketbook” is the limit.
For me there is nothing more fun then spending someone else’s money. 😂
Welcome and enjoy your Jeep, you have time.
Hooah!!!
Not going to lie, I almost traded mine in on a Mojave just last month and it had everything I wanted, problem was... I’ve already added lift, tires, bumper, winch, side steps, etc and everytime I walked outside and looked at it... it was mine, I made it mine.
So... nail in the coffin... I put...
@ATalien - I remember the name but not the actual game. I had a friend who had a C64, I never had one personally. I did have the Atari 2600 and my brother thats 15 years older than I ended up with it and it was stolen....so he says; Hmmmmmm
I love that! It looks dang good!!
As for the trail rates badge you could always opt for the Jeep Performance Parts Badge. It’s dang pricey but it does come with a free suspension and a very cool box. LOL
@ATLalien oh wow! Thats BA! I wish I would have kept my Atari 2600, Nintendo, Sega Genesis, etc. I was able to still have a Playstation 2 with the Arcade games like Dig Dug, Missle Command, Pacman, Galaga, Pole Position and others.
As mentioned in my post above with the picture that you quoted, Grimmjeeper showed I that I should be running 2091rpm @ 70mph. The picture shows me right at 2100rpm...so very close.
@80 it states that I should be @ 2390rpm and I believe that to be about the same as I was as well, for my memory...
