Just ordered a 2.5” Overland Plus kit last week through Northridge 4x4. It’ll be my first Clayton product. I look forward to installing the kit and making my JTR stand out even more.

Sorry man, that sucks. As far as owning so many goes.....the Jeep brand has been owned/run by quite a few different businesses. I’ve got a Willys Overland brand, an AMC brand and had two DCA brand Jeeps. My JTR is my first FCA.

Bolt on or weld?

mine were way worse. I used a flap disc to clean them up before sending it to powder coat. I'm trying to decide where and how to mount some lights to the bumper.

I'd try to add some clearance. Maybe loosen up the exhaust of slider and see if you can gain some added distance between them.

I'm looking into making a set of sliders very soon. Just not sure if I should mount them directly to the frame like the old days or body mounts like so many do now.

@Clayton Off Road Does this kit or any of your kits increase the amount of suspension travel?

I saw 4 Gladiators today driving around San Jose and Santa Cruz. Saw a nice lifted silver one traveling on northbound 17 just before 5pm.

this forum has a very different layout than I’m used to.

I’ve got a manual so it only shuts off when I’m neutral and clutch is out. When the the clutch is depressed it starts up again. However there are times when it will fire up on its own before I touch the clutch.

I picked up a new JTR on Saturday as well. Haven’t seen any one place with lots of JT info but it’s all out there, albeit in different places.

Many of my friends, family have been evacuated including my parents. It’s crazy times for sure
