Hey G0merP, sorry you, too, have to deal with this. I had the same problem on my 21 JTRD on Feb 25 and didn't get everything fixed until 4/11/25. I had my Jeep towed to a local diesel shop since the local Jeep techs were backlogged over 1+ month. I then had it towed to my local Jeep...
Update 3/24/25: So today was the first day my Jeep was diagnosed. Long story, but it involved a lot of waiting to get service and 3 separate tows to 3 different locations. My '21 JTRD high pressure fuel pump shelled out as expected. Dealer says they already ordered parts and should have it...
So today Iām driving along the highway in my ā21 JTRD at 59 mph in Wasilla, Alaska, having just topped off my 1/4 full tank of diesel with a full fill up. 48,058 miles on the odometer, perfect running engine up till today, and suddenly the eco-diesel sputtered, like it was choking out, then I...
Agree with Jefe1018, the bottoming out issue is an annoyance for sure, but thereās still much I like about my JTRD. Iāve put 3700 miles on mine purely traveling on two road trips and itās been a great truck so far. My only request is for Jeep to recognize this is an issue and then take steps to...
**Diesel Fuel MPG**. Hi, I just finished quite a road trip in my stock JTRD w/auto trans and adaptive cruise control. Trip was a loop between DC, southern FL, NW FL, TN and back to DC. Honestly, I am very happy with the fuel mileage of the diesel among many other great things. Hope this info...
One win for the Jeep! I vaguely recalled having the auto high beams as an option. Then last night I switched to manual headlights with high beams on thinking they would switch to low on their own and ended up blinding an oncoming driver. Only then I realized headlights must be on auto for auto...
Good call on the LED lighting stevorama--I finally had the chance to drive at night outside of the city yesterday and was super impressed with the LED lighting. Little things like the auto-high beam had me smiling from ear to ear when passing cars on twisty, hilly roads at night. Thanks for...
Thanks! I can understand people having different perspectives on that type of system. I did go from a 1996 Tacoma to a 2021 Gladiator for my daily driver...tech has definitely evolved, so that likely has me more excited than most.
Hi all, new member here, sorry for the long post. I wanted to share my thoughts on real world use of the Adaptive Cruise Control, one of my favorite (and must-have) options when I ordered my Gladiator.
How I used Adaptive Cruise today:
I traveled northbound on I-95 towards Wash DC...
Hi, new member here. I'm compelled to chime in on this issue--should the front end of my '21 Diesel Gladiator Rubi bottom out when entering a grocery store parking lot? Or when traversing over a normal mound-style speed hump/bump? I didn't think so either...seems either too short on front...
