This is correct. The "step" allows you better visibility on the passenger side so you don't blind oncoming traffic but still can see things like deer that may be on the side of the road

Infotainment.Com sells them with a new oem set if led headlights. But its pricey AF. 1900.00. That said they may just sell the wire harness. You'd have to check.
