No it's a proven fact that the flush cleans the metal surfaces to get it ready for synthetic oil to adhere to it. I have no affiliation with Amsoil anymore but I still use this flush when adding full synthetic to any engine I own.

Make sure you buy the Amsoil engine flush and follow the directions as it cleans the engine and gets it ready for the Amsoil oils. I used to be a dealer.

I just bought a new 23 Gladiator far out edition rubicon and between the 15% and the dealers discount of 8% I bought a 78k sticker gladiator for 60k out the door including taxes, dealer fees ect and got 2k over kbb for a 20 gladiator overland trade,this was last week.
