I ordered a Rubicon through Gupton on 1/18 and left off proximity as well. So now I might get it?
I'm starting to wonder what I will and what I won't get. kinda scary.
I think OP is saying the dealer is asking for the new gladiator to be kept under the $50k amount.
Nothing to do with miles. At least that's the way I'm reading it.
Ordered A JTR through Gupton on 1/18 and got a VIN on 1/20
I'm scared to ask Jeep chat for an ETA. I'll likely get depressed. I sold my 2020 Gladiator sport and am driving my beater 2000 F150 in the meantime.
I did get the Rubicon with the 4:10's.
The M6 Transmission was geared terribly with the 373's. When I put 35's on it, I knew I made a mistake, it was a dog. I could have re-geared but still, I'd have a manual transmission that I wasn't happy with. It made strange noises on shifts and the clutch...
Sold - Ended up selling to a Ford dealer of all people. Got 38K for it. Not too shabby for a 2020 that had an MSRP of $41,170. I lost money in the lift, Wheels and tires but I'm okay with that.
Now to order my new Rubicon
I'm done with my Manual transmission Gladiator Sport S. Rowing gears on a daily driver has lost it's fun. I have a Corvette and an MGB that both have manual transmissions for fun.
That said. I'm looking at ordering a new Rubicon or Mojave. Might even opt for a fully loaded Willy's due to price...
I just got home from Glendale. Let me tell you it was the worst experience I have had. Not just buying a vehicle, but at any business. My Gladiator was purchased from South County. My wife's Wrangler was purchased through Glendale and we had a decent experience at that time.
I'm wanting to...
I know the exact sound you're referring to. Happens to me when I let out on the clutch going into the next gear. Got worse after the 35's.
Personally, I just think its a crappy clutch. I'll upgrade eventually.
I emailed Daniel on Sunday to see what kind of deal I could get on a 21. I want out of my 6 speed and into an auto. Hopefully Rubicon instead of a Sport S this time. Hopefully I hear something.
