  1. Retro Gladiator build, my modern take on the Old Honcho

I mentioned earlier the plan for the air tank. Here is the diagram if it helps. So the Axles. The initial plan was to go with dynatrac prorock 44's . This was a builders axle and it housed Yukon gears with an ARB locker. It was the rear axle where the problems began. A miss-communication...
  2. Retro Gladiator build, my modern take on the Old Honcho

So while I was waiting for parts I started doing the foundation work for a solid build. This rig will be used on trails for sure and although it looks nice it must perform. I mentioned the air compressor in an earlier post but I also thought some storage would be wise too. I installed a 2.5...
  3. Retro Gladiator build, my modern take on the Old Honcho

The visor is in pre-production currently.
  4. Retro Gladiator build, my modern take on the Old Honcho

I always planned on upgrading the axles so the time to do the suspension is while all the parts are at paint. I have to say, all the post about how much rubicon axles are worth are over rated. 6. Retro Gladiator build, my modern take on the Old Honcho

So, next part. The bobbed bed came in. The packaging alone took half my shop. Each part wrapped in paper and loaded on a pallet. Just unpacking took close to two hours. Thankfully my neighbor let's me borrow his forklift often. Step one was to measure and mark where I was cutting the frame...
  7. Retro Gladiator build, my modern take on the Old Honcho

The wife and I wanted a rig we could drive to and from our local trails. We already have a well built 2006 rubicon TJ. I already have a truck, '15 3500 megacab on AEV lift. We saw a bobbed bed Gladiator in Sand Hollow, UT and thought how cool it looked. Then I remember, in the late 70's the J10...
  8. Factory Amplifier location?

Thanks anyway, I was able to install the device directly to a dash speaker. I am trying my best not to add a bunch of accessories to the dash including extra speakers. Audio interrupt playing through left dash speaker
  9. Factory Amplifier location?

The mute is not a single wire input to the factory head unit, or I agree this would be the easiest way to go.
  10. Factory Amplifier location?

Hi all, I'm trying to install an audio interrupt device for my ham radio output. It on my '22 gladiator eco with the 8.4 Uconnect. Does anyone know the audio amplifier location?
