  1. Gofastcamper (gfc) mods, tips, pics, bs and builds

I mean, you were basically right though. You would need a pully system or multiple people to get the GFC off so you were right lol.
  2. Gofastcamper (gfc) mods, tips, pics, bs and builds

This. @KRC To get the back off you would need to take the GFC OFF the bed. Front comes off no problem, but the rear of the hard top can not come off while the GFC is attached.
  3. Pennsylvania Mishimoto Snorkel and Trans Cooler

Hey all, Brand new in box Mishimoto snorkel and Trans Cooler. Bought these about two years ago and they have been sitting in my garage unopened since. Snorkel will not fit with the KC Hilites windshield lights I have, and I ended up not needing the trans cooler. Looking for $500 OBO for the...
  4. Better cost-effective aftermarket alternative to factory headlights?

Just remember that If you get a lot of snow, you're going to have issues with LED lights and snow packing it solid.
  5. death wobble / shimmy/ blah blah blah fixed !

You would be correct. Can't say how long it's been since I've seen that setup, but I shouldve actually looked. Sorry all. At least one of the points I made was correct LOL: Tie rod does not connect to the pitman arm and OP refuses to learn.
  6. death wobble / shimmy/ blah blah blah fixed !

Umm...no there isn't. Clearly you don't know what a tie rod is. Tie rod is ONLY from knuckle to knuckle. Drag link ONLY goes from passenger tire knuckle to pitman arm. The above two points are correct on a YJ as well as a JT. Maybe you're mixing up phrasing and you're thinking bushing? Idk...
  7. death wobble / shimmy/ blah blah blah fixed !

No one believes you are here to argue on what is what, however, it benefits all of us as well as any newcomers to understand what is happening with their vehicle when we correct/confirm information. Stopping the spread of misinformation is tremendously helpful.
  8. Add a Closeout for Wheel Wells?

There are roller washer systems that have a long metal pole attached that you can roll underneath the truck. They work wonders (as long as it is not caked on mud that sat for a week) lol. That is a very good investment if you want to keep salt/grime and things of that nature out from the...
  9. Anyone have DV8 Hood Latch Locks?

Absolutly. Good on them for that. There are so many companies that refuse to do that now and just site Covid followed with "there is nothing we can do". Glad to hear positive things about them. I appreciate your response on this ?
  10. Add a Closeout for Wheel Wells?

LOL. No. Even if you get different inner fender liners that extend below the frame, anything youre going through is coming up directly from underneath regardless.
  11. Anyone have DV8 Hood Latch Locks?

DV8 prior to Covid was good. Covid hit them hard however. QC went down hill on many things - sliders not lining up - bumpers not lining up - finish on any/all products have been subpar in lasting, as well as a not being completely covered in the first place - Missing hardware (havent heard of...
  12. A Chefs Gladiator

They are great for sure. I appreciate the response. Looks like I know what direction I am going now. Many thanks!
  13. A Chefs Gladiator

Gotcha. So undercarriage directly to battery. I was trying to find a possibly different solution to this as I have a GFC but didnt think there was one besides drilling through SOMETHING. Thanks for the info, I will probably do this shortly. I was looking at that harness, mainly because I...
  14. A Chefs Gladiator

@Gringo&Gun talk to me about how you ran the wiring for your ARB. I have always had mine set under the hood but with the Genesis Dual Battery kit that really isnt feasible now. Did you drill through the tub to the battery? or are you using the bed outlet?
  15. Anyone have DV8 Hood Latch Locks?

Drake offroad makes that same style. Had it on my JK for 7 years, no rusting or issues at all. DV8 has shitty QC I would not buy them at all.
  16. Help removing door hinges

Take a small sharp knife and cut around the bolt heads to release the paint connecting them to the hinges.
  17. Auxilary Battery Died then Main Battery Died - Important Info

Well obviously supply change is still shit. I wasn't going to go down the list of reasons why they are out of stock. Just threw that in because, it is true.
  18. Auxilary Battery Died then Main Battery Died - Important Info

Mopar sites have been out of them like crazy because the batteries are garbage. Websites are dumb sometimes. One for model year 2020 will fit any JT's (JL's too i believe) as they are the same thing for at minimum the gas engine. I am assuming diesel is the same but I can not comment on it...
  19. Auxilary Battery Died then Main Battery Died - Important Info

You didnt ask any questions there...but here you go on the battery size/part number. Google came up real quick. https://www.autozone.com/batteries-starting-and-charging/battery/p/duralast-platinum-agm-auxiliary-battery-aux14/755654_0_0...
  20. Insane Audio JL4001
