  2. MotorTrend 2021 Gladiator Review - Terrifying Towing?

In one test (with Mojave), they did 5200 lbs in a JT with no trailer brake controller. Yeah, life is going to suck. Who didn't see that coming?
  3. New JT Gladiator Steering Issue TSB 08-074-20 (for "Improved Steering Feel")

FCA put out another manufacturer communication on October 14 that basically says, "hey, dealers, when you replace the steering gear, you must reflash the computer to get the improved feel." Did you get the flash?
  4. ALL Steering gear orders (NOT) cancelled !!!

When I first saw this, my reaction was WHOA! Now that I've had some time to think about it, it makes sense. The steering box gears should make it about a 19:1 ratio. Thus, wouldn't it make sense to turn the steering wheel almost 20 degrees to make the tires turn 1 degree? I mean, if you...
  5. New JT Gladiator Steering Issue TSB 08-074-20 (for "Improved Steering Feel")

Do a quick search on adjusting the drag link. All you need is a wrench (15 mm, I think) and 5 minutes. That includes time for finding the wrench and putting it away.
  6. What did you do TO your Gladiator today? [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS, NO GUN TALK]

I love those wheels, and that's a killer deal.
  7. New JT Gladiator Steering Issue TSB 08-074-20 (for "Improved Steering Feel")

Thanks to everyone who provides feedback. It is helpful.
  8. New JT Gladiator Steering Issue TSB 08-074-20 (for "Improved Steering Feel")

@JeepCares What does this mean exactly? There are people reporting that the parts are backordered, on campaign hold, dealer can only order one a week or month or every 52.875 days if there is a harvest moon, or that there is a new TSB and new parts coming. The information is all over the...
  9. No bed power? No problem! $9.99 do it yourself.

I'm not sure what those are called specifically or even if it is something other than a standard spade connector. If you search for "piggyback spade connectors" you will find some options to help accomplish the same thing. They won't look like that, but they should allow you to jump from one...
  10. 285/75R18 rubbing on Mopar 2” lift

Is it possible to get the LCAs put on the wrong side or backward? Sorry that's all I can come up with. Strange problem.
  11. Badgeglow SimpleAUX plate + redline tuning hood struts...are they compatible?

Thanks. Please update if you get the time to install.
  12. Badgeglow SimpleAUX plate + redline tuning hood struts...are they compatible?

The title pretty much says it all. I have a SimpleAUX plate that I haven't mounted yet, and I want to order some hood struts (because prop rods suck). Has anyone mounted both? I just want to make sure they don't interfere with each other before I order the hood struts. Thanks in advance.
  13. Hot Springs ORV Park

I went on saturday with the wife, one kid and one dog. I had never been to the park before so I asked the lady at the desk whether it would be possible to do the Badge of Honor runs in a stock JTR. She basically said stick with the trails rated 2 unless you link up with a trail buddy who has...
  14. Survey- For those with misfire issues

This is what worries me. Most people seem to have the initial problem almost immediately, but there are a handful who have no problem for a lot of miles and then bam! You get a misfire!
  15. Hot Springs ORV Park

Bumping this thread. I'm going to head down there tomorrow and do a few runs. I'll update with damage reports. :)
  16. How to Adjust the Slop out of the Steering System (I am finally happy with my Jeep)

4mm hex socket on a long extension with 1/2" ratchet broke it loose pretty easily. :)
  17. Gripe - Steering Wheel Chrome

Some user on here popped his off (along with the dash panels) and color matched them to his truck. I thought it looked damn good.
