The better question to ask: How much money do you have to spend? The list of things needed to properly lift a vehicle can add up very quickly (lift, wheels, tires, axles, control arms, LABOR, etc, etc...)

I picked up one from the local flea market cheap store for less than $5.00. A pair of scissors trimmed it to fit my previous JL, and it still works in my Gladiator. I went back and purchased a back up for when this one wears out.

Please search the site for this question. It has been discussed without end or conclusion other than use what the factory recommends.

I did not mean to offend you. Many, many people have posted your same concerns in the forum - so that is why I asked the forum if any of those that have previously mentioned low MPGs - if they had found a solution other than "your mileage may vary". Carry on.

Yes. Follow up question: has anyone taken a Gladiator to the dealer complaining about poor MPG, and had them fix it?

I had that same experience with a different brand aftermarket replacement. Try aiming them lower.

As I have aged, my shifter isn't as stiff as it used to be.

There are way too many variables here. The last word(s) on the REAL, ACTUAL MPG that you personally will get compared to the sticker or to the gauge cluster or to ANYONE ELSE on the planet: "Your mileage may vary..."

After the 1st page, I jumped ahead to the end - and apparently didn't miss anything.
