I don't mind changing the oil. My biggest issue is I don't have anywhere to take old oil. However, I just Googled what to do with old oil and learned the O'Reilly store in the town over from me accepts used oil. I think I'll go there and buy the oil and filter and bring the old oil back to them...
From your description of the interactions you are having with the dealer, they seem pretty laxidaisical about it. If it was me, I would take it another service place

I took my 2024 Gladiator Rubicon X to Waynesboro Jeep in Waynesboro GA to replace a bad steering wheel control module (all of the buttons on the steering wheel stopped working except the cruise control buttons) and get it's first oil change under the Jeep Wave program. It had 6,000 miles on it...
My 2020 Gladiator has water in the driver side floorboard. It's not a lot, but it is always damp. It never seems to dry up, even if it has gone awhile without raining, so I'm assuming it's condensation from the AC or something like that. I rarely take the tops out and have only taken the top off...
