  1. Yet another water leak - cowl?

Water seems to be getting from the cowl area to the driver side carpet. About a year ago I noticed whenever it rained or I used my wipers that I would hear a sloshing sound coming from the front of the truck. I pulled the cowl off and pulled a few leaves out of the cowl. Nothing changed. Aside...
  2. Teraflex Alpine IR Control Arm Bushings Cracking?

I've had a set of teraflex short arms installed for about 3 years now. After a trip to moab, I came home with a popping/clicking sound when going over bumps from the rear end. I discovered the inner metal sleeve of one of the control arms had cracked. I replaced it and a little while later the...
  3. Anyone with a steer smarts sector shaft brace and an aftermarket swaybar that fits?

I put it on this weekend. It fits without issue. The sway loc design is so different, I wouldn't expect any other aftermarket design to interfere with the sector shaft bracket the way it does.
  4. Anyone with a steer smarts sector shaft brace and an aftermarket swaybar that fits?

I have a steer smarts sector shaft brace and a swayloc sway bar. The brace interferes with the fitment of the sway bar. I may be able to clearance it with a grinder, but I'd rather just switch out the sway bar. Does anyone have the steer smarts sector shaft brace and an anti rock sway bar or...
  5. Anyone using Dana HD ball joints with RCVs?

Does the grease fitting for the lower joint cause interference issues with the cv/boot?
  6. How much offset to run 38" trail grapplers with a 3.5" lift?

I currently have a 3.5" teraflex lift on an overland and am looking to buy a set of beadlocks to run 38x13.5 Nitto trail grapplers. Most likely they'll be 17x9. I currently have stock fenders and I'm sure I'll need to do something about them as well. How much offset would I need to avoid...
  7. Washer behind pinion bearing, purpose?

So, because I'm apparently a masochist, I'm attempting my own regear. I finished up the front, which took weeks because I have no time for any of the projects I start. Today I started on the rear and as I'm tearing it apart I realized that I never replaced the washer behind the tail bearing on...
  8. Gear pattern check

Is this too deep or too shallow? It still has the harsh line which indicates it's too deep, but it seems like the pattern is too close to the face, which indicates it's too shallow.
  9. Gear pattern check

    How does this look?
