  1. Trailer Factory Equipped Backup Cameras and the Gladiator

This is exactly why I ended up here. I was about drop $$ on the Furrion S+, but now I'm thinking about this HaloView 5" you got. I also have a 26'x8' camper and agree that even with mirror extenders, you can't see around it. I also have a 6'x12' cargo trailer. I was hoping to find a way to hook...
  2. Fill Neck Mod

This little funnel comes in the glove box on all EcoDiesel vehicles. It's designed to allow you to use a Jerry can with the discriminator, since it will only open with a properly sized nozzle.
  3. Fill Neck Mod

The funnel is actually for situations when you need to use a portable Jerry can to refuel. It's not really intended for non-standard pump sizes. I used mine for 2 fills, but it's slow and messy, so I modded it the hard way. My issue was that at work we have larger nozzles than what fit in the...
  4. Fill Neck Mod

I must have a particularly grippy set of channel locks. Just some Ace Hardware ones I've had in my toolbox forever. I imagine the issue is that people are having them slip, so they squeeze harder where some grip a little better so you don't have to squeeze as much. I'm sorry it's not turning...
  5. Fill Neck Mod

Sorry about that cracking. I was cautious that it might be an issue, but managed to avoid it myself. JB weld makes a 'TankWeld' epoxy that could be used if an air leak becomes an issue, and shouldn't be affected by the fuel.
  6. Fill Neck Mod

I wouldn't think so, but it might make the part a bit stiffer. It was freezing temps in the AM here the days I did 3 of our gladiators. It is deceptively hard to rotate, and the first one I tried this on was tricky. You only need about 15°, think 1 or 11 o'clock, depending which way you turn...
  7. Fill Neck Mod

If I could afford it, I'd road trip and help you. On that note, if there's anyone within an hour or so of Davenport, IA, I would gladly come do this for you for 'gas' money. ?
  8. Fill Neck Mod

It is still tough to rotate after squeezing it a bit. It doesn't take much squeeze to get clearance from the tabs. Also note that the more you 'egg shape' it, the more tension you're adding pressure to the right & left sides which might make it harder to turn.
  9. Fuel fill mod

I found an easier way. I've posted about it in another thread that initially helped me remove mine, but thought I'd share here since there's no sure-fire way to consolidate info. https://www.jeepgladiatorforum.com/forum/threads/fill-neck-mod.37006/post-1065875
  10. Fill Neck Mod

Yes, I've done three of them this week. The discriminator itself causes no additional interference with extraction. I only did this video real quick on my own Gladiator because I didn't have one at the ready to show with the discriminator.
  11. Fill Neck Mod

I posted this on the Wrangler forum as well, but figured I should plop it here as well. At my work, we have Gladiators as company pickup trucks, and we were all recently upgraded to diesel models. I removed the entire filler assembly to extract the discriminator, but after finding out how it's...
