My understanding is that they've addressed this with the beam pattern. They talk about this very issue in their videos. The snow/ice concern is definitely valid.
A suggestion that might be a compromise:

If you want my opinion, drop it down to 38. That's totally fine and you might find the ride a bit more agreeable. Great thing about tire pressure... it's the only free component you can customize on your Jeep. Free returns too.
Questions about what to run your tire pressure at are going to get you a wide range of answers. I run much lower than that (36-39 depending on the temperature) and find that it reduces the steering wander a bit.
My 95L Roam cargo box arrived today and it's just an amazing piece of gear. Highly recommend. VERY sturdy, sealed, water drain, lockable, spring arm to keep the top open, beefy clamps... it's like the perfect storage container. It fits perfectly in the bed towards the back between the...
Does anyone know which wires are which in the ACC mirror wire bundle? Black is negative but what are the other ones? Pink / Green seems to be positive (switched?) from the posts above but does anyone have info on what the other wires are?
I have the side and rear sets and I love them. Super easy to install... BUT! Be aware that by going with these you are prevented from easily moving / removing the sliding trail rail cleats. It’s the only critical thing I can say about them.
I've also tried this Husky portable tool storage box. Also weather sealed but lacking tie-down points. When I use this, I ratchet strap it down from the rear tie-down points for easy access from the tailgate. They are deceptively large...
I've been trying out various solutions myself.
Milwaukee makes a "Packout" 22 in. Tool Box and two of them side-by-side fit PERFECTLY into the back of the bed and can be secured by a ratchet strap or bungees by the tie down points which are still accessible. They are weather proof and have...

I'm jealous! Turns out these wheels are the Gear Off Road 749MB Trek Wheels (17x9, 5x5 bolt pattern, -12 offset, 749MB-7907312) after powder coating. Unfortunately, they're no longer part of the Gear Off Road catalog and are out of stock everywhere. Huge bummer.
It's a different wheel. I contacted Andy (the gentleman in the video) via email and he responded right away with:
"I bought Gear Alloy Wheels and went to the local powder coater."
Been trying to find them on their website. Will update here if I'm able to track them down.
How were you able to pop off the cover to expose the wiring? I was having some difficulty. Then again, I have the ACC package big rear-view box which might be complicating things.
