Yup it can be used with the factory trail rail system or the builtright version of the trail rail system. If you look at the second picture you can see the channel nuts that slide into that rail system.

I went the cheap 35 route. Don't plan on rotating the 5th tire so I kept the steelie and mounted a kenda klever 35/10.5r17. This tire is 1. cheap and 2. narrow so it tucks up under the bed better

I decided to check the AEV dualsport lift component list and interestingly enough they only include a "rear trackbar tower." No mention of anything for the front trackbar.
I suppose it's like putting adj control arms in addition to geo correction brackets. The brackets get you where you need to be but the adj control arms allows you to really dial it in.
Can't hurt on the 2" but probably becomes more important the higher you go

Maybe I have an exceptional dealer but the tires I was inquiring about Toyo ATIII 35/11.5r17and BFG KO2 35/12.5r17 were both in stock. I decided on the Toyos, they price matched, and the installation went smooth, an hour or so.

Having the springs seated properly into the perches and on the right side has the potential to make a big difference in ride quality. I can't say I know what it feels like to have them reversed but they must be engineered per side for a reason.
