I think your off on tow capacity. The dealership said for the diesel motor is 7500. Your right because I'm trying to pull a small 12' trailer with my Honda Talon on it. Total weight is about 2900.
Okay, wanted to make sure you knew how to cycle engine to clear. All the codes that come up on my Gladiator are turbo boost related to the extra power needed to pull additional load.
you Know how to get it to reset right??
there is. they are just saying there's no code. The best way to take it in is once it goes into it, have it towed and DO NOT CYCLE THE ENGINE 3 TIMES that's why I think no code is there. Once cycled 3 times it clears code.
No, my 2021 Gladiator has been at two different dealerships and currently in now. They've had it for two months. Trying to get it to duplicate the issue. Last dealership put new turbo and a line of some sort, and it still goes into limp seconds after warning me with lightning bolts to service...
Thanks again. The dealer says there is no code when this happens, kinda funny I think if its showing, warning and putting my jeep in limp mode you think there would be a stored code!!
I have a 2021 Gladiator 3.0 eco diesel. Jeep runs great with 37" tires with the mini tins to adjust tire size. The problem I am having is when pulling a trailer, my jeep codes out and then puts me in limp mode until I pull over and cycle the motor three times as per the book to clear code. Seems...
I am having the same problem and the dealership can't seem to fix. Even after calling manufacture.. Only happens when I pull my sxs on 7x12 trailer over 60MPH.
I have a 2021 3.0 eco diesel and I can't pull nothing without my "red lightening bolt" popping up on my dash saying service electronic throttle body then it sends a check engine and puts me in limp mode.
