Loving my Anvil. We take the top two panels off almost weekly. I mainly drive on sand (beaches) and have found a few areas to ride when it gets muddy. The truck has done great in 4H. We took it up to Colorado, and I got into some snow. Same thing - 4H worked wonders.
My Lily dog. She absolutely loves getting in and going for drives. She's getting old, and so I plan on taking her overlanding with me to Palo Duro Canyon in about a month. We'll try to stop by a few state parks on the way as well.
You, sir, have my attention.
So you're thinking spacer lift and tires? I was looking into the shocks as well!
I was thinking of keeping the wheels that came on my Texas Trail since I do like them. Would a 2" lift with 35s look alright? If I can swing the tires soon, I could get a decent price...
Howdy!
Let me first just say that I am in love with my Gladiator, and I have been bitten by the upgrade bug. I have a 25 Texas Trail in anvil and it's fully stock. The only things I've done are upgrade to LEDs, add a Bullet Point Picatinny Rail system, headliner, and add some front speakers...
Beach day with the top off. Well, at least the front two panels! We got through a very soft section of the National Seashore without having to lower pressure. While we positioned the truck on compacted sand, we made sure to ride through all the ruts, bumps, and sketchy-looking areas to test out...
Like a few on here, I've added the Hothead liner to mine. It was the first thing I did to it, and I'll say that noise has gone down (not monumentally, but still lower). The big upside with this, and I was talking about it with my wife on our drive home yesterday, is that it adds so much...
While I have installed the LED headlights, I am needing some help with the green turn signal light wires. I hooked up the red wire to both lights to run the DTRL but I would like to also hook up the green wire. The instructions were super detailed.
Thanks!
Do you have any other ideas or updates so far?
I've just added the Hotheadz Liner, and I'm looking to add a tonneau cover, LED headlights, and taillights. My Texas Trail came with the spray liner in, and I am glad because there will be times where I'll have stuff in the bed and I don't want it...
I'm definitely following this, as I'd like a tire to do some dirt and sand, nothing too crazy. Maybe some rock crawling, but at a lower difficulty in some areas we have here in Texas.
Here is my new 25 Texas Trail. I’m in love!
I’ve always wanted a Jeep, and when the Gladiator launched, I told myself when I owned a truck again I’d buy one. Here we are.
