Might be the seat delete combo and tinnitus ridden ears. I’ll try some sound foam covering the rear wall too.

For now I have some insulation installed and it seems to have fixed the flapping and reduced the cabin buffeting. Still might look into a simple gutter fairing to try and really fix the problem and give me .25 mpg back.

I’d really like to be able to fit in the garage. I’m already on. 2.5 lift with 37s. I’ll try the pool noodle above the vents and see if that can be workable and if not I’ll have to look at the roof racks or more drastic changes like switching to smart cap

Update: adding this did solve the fluttering vent problem. Still felt some pressure issues in the cab but I can’t tell if that’s because my ears are flared up from previous drives.

Yes, those are the vents I’m talking about. They are free to air if you look down from the top of your bed. If you look down the crack and close your doors, you can see them flare out.

Is your theory with the tape that because my cap sticks up into the air above my roofline it’s creating a high pressure zone which is messing with the relief vents and my ears. Or are you more concerned about the gap between my rear window and cab. Just trying to get a mental model here.
