You don't have to remove the radio, you just have to get behind the dash by the radio. Everything still works fine, it's just a splice connection.

30 minutes to insert the adapter and runs the wires. 10 minutes to install the dock, connector and speaker. I have the 8.4 and Alpine. If you didn't order the bluetooth speaker, the wire is not there.

Just run a power and a ground from this adapter under the passenger carpet, down the passenger door jams and finally under the rear seat carpet to the dock.

I don't think so. I have the wiring harness. It's only 4 wires. I'm pretty sure it 1) power 2) Negative 3) Speaker + 4) Speaker Negative. All I should have to do is bring ignition power and a ground to the unit from the dash and should be good to go, but I'm here to learn.

Does anyone know of the wiring for the bluetooth cradle? I removed it from my JT to put it into my JTR ,but did not check the outputs prior to removal. Would love to just know the power and ground wires for the bluetooth speaker.
