Yeah they felt as if there was something wrong with them as well, however they said they just weren’t as familiar with an off road shock. They specialize in sprint car shocks.

I’ve left them standing straight up and had the recharged to 100 psi by a race car shock builder. They all still have basically a 4” flat spot. The first 4” of travel is extremely easy to push in before they ever firm up.
