I took all 4 bolts out and then had my wife pull back on the top, while folded back, and then retightened everything. Problem solved. I noticed that the drivers side wasn't fully "seated" into the channels. That may be your issue too.
So, I hacked up the media door in my gladiator this evening. Anyone know if there is a part number for just the door bezel. The piece that snap onto the whole hub.
thanks,
Status update for anyone who cares :). The HS10 is legit. it is perfect for this application in my opinion. Saves space and adds just enough, too much if you crank it.
Was talking with the stereo shop guy about the 4-channel amp and he bascially said, “well with the amp we can adjust the...
With the difference in sensitivity ratings between the two sets. My infinitis should be better (louder at least) than the MB's, correct? I'm honestly asking, because I have no idea.
Thanks,
No amp. Will probably have to install one at some point. Will see what happens after HS10 and bass blockers up front are installed. Hoping it will be good enough after that.
The 6x9”s do look good though :). Had some help from my oldest on the install, that was fun and brought back a lot of...
So, recently finished up an install of Infiniti Primus 693M's with MB Quart adapters in my soundbar along with Infiniti REF 307F's in the dash. These 6x9's have a good sensitivity rating (93db) and relatively low power handling (60W RMS).
I get it the stock 7" head unit is under powered for...
Hello,
Been doing a ton of research and I still can’t figure this out. So, I have 6x9’s and 3.5’s being delivered Friday. What I’m wondering is:
Will I be fine plugging the 6x9’s into the 4“ speaker wire or is there an inline crossover somewhere that will block higher frequency’s to the new...
I have some infinity 6x9's being delivered Friday. I just noticed your comment about cutting the wire to the tweeter. Did you do this to essentially bi-amplify your alpines? Is this necessary or will I be fine to just use the meta adapter and hook my new speakers up to existing 4" speaker wires...
Does anyone know if the non-alpine system has an inline crossover for the smaller speaker in the soundbar? I ordered 4" speakers for the soundbar and separate tweeters.
Thanks.
