So my tailgate isn't locking, I can hear the locking motor kick in and try and latch but it never actually locks the tailgate. I've even tried to lock it with the key and it turns but doesn't lock the tailgate. Any suggestions or anyone have any similar issues?

Just bought the road armor stealth fenders in bare steel And the rear inner liner. Planning on painting them to the color of the Jeep. Any advice with the installation of these? Seems fairly straightforward but always better to talk to someone who has installed them.
