  1. Mojave shock end cap screws rusted

according to the OP, who is familiar with materials standards on these vehicles, you shouldn’t see any rust. Also, I wouldn’t go changing fasteners to SS units… I imagine that some bolts are meant to stretch, some are meant to be harder than others, etc. Stainless fasteners may not be the best...
  2. 2022 Rumors?

the scenario you describe isn’t really a trade. As such, you lose out on the tax benefit that comes along with trading in a vehicle. Which, in Massachusetts anyway, means you only pay sales tax on the difference. Though this tax benefit may vary from state to state.
  3. 2022 Rumors?

i noticed this as well when I logged in (for the first time) to generate my control number. I believe that it does state that it is for MY2021 vehicles. Though this may be because ā€˜22s aren’t available yet
  4. Gupton Motors up to 8% below invoice

Curious if anybody has had their car shipped via carrier from Gupton. I’m an 18 hour drive away. Got a shipping quote for just north of $1k…. Which is a bargain compared to a flight to TN and then a two day drive home. I assume I wouldn’t be the first to do this. Am I?
  5. Florida *UPDATED* $1800 plus black hard top for snazZberry hard top

Perhaps you’ve already explored this option, but I would imagine that a body shop can likely sand/paint your black/unpainted top for less than the $1500 you’re willing to subsidize the trade with.
  6. Mojave shock end cap screws rusted

I disagree that the thread is ruined… I still find it quite entertaining. I can’t wait to hear what the dealership has to say about the demand for replacement units. perhaps the request of a single individual will force Fox to find a suitable alternative screw. Then we all win! if a previous...
  7. Getting ready to order from Gupton, need to get my ducks in a row.

The discontinuation of the FCA discount is a bummer. My membership will reach its 30 day maturation date in the first week of October.

    how about now?
  9. 2022 Rumors?

I have a sneaking suspicion that there will be a non-JT related announcement come 4:15est and we’ll all still be wondering what the 2022MY will bring as it relates to the JT. edit: based on post 999… it appears that my suspicion is wrong
  10. 2022 Rumors?

this is the most likely scenario. JT line will likely only see the minor tweaks, already hypothesized here. I’d love to see chief as a paint option. Or a lighter version of sting grey
  11. 2022 Rumors?

Maybe ā€œmore than just a new colorā€ means they’re introducing TWO new colors! :like:
  12. Any New England/area dealers dealing?

thanks for your input 12GS. Assuming you’ve already placed your order with Gupton? Did you happen to look into getting your vehicle shipped back here?
  13. Any New England/area dealers dealing?

Hi all, I’m in the Boston area and looking to place an order for a JT in a couple of weeks (my tread lightly membership hits its 30 day maturity in the first week of October). Have any of you NE-based owners or future owners found dealerships that are playing nicely with the tread lightly...

congrats on your new ride! Looks great! Did you end up paying the extra $2k? How did the dealer justify the additional charge?

  16. Can't Order 2021 anymore according to Local Sales manager...2022 orders still TBD.

As a former (and future) P-car owner who has spent a fair amount of time on Rennlist; I’d be surprised if after having spent some time there, you didn’t rethink any stereotypes you might have about Porsche owners. As to your bug comment… you typically get bit by the track bug first. This is...
