Its not terrible but it does require removing the upper intake plenum to access the driver side plugs. I did mine 2 weeks ago and took about 6 hours taking my time and inspecting everything while I had the intake off. I replaced the upper intake plenum seals and the VVT solenoid seal that I...
It has CarPlay. I have a 2020 Overland and it works fine. If you connect your phone through Bluetooth it won’t load CarPlay even when it’s plugged in.
Check the rear sway bar bushings where it mounts to the axle. I removed the sway bar, cleaned off the bushings and used a little energy suspension lube. You can disconnect the end links and move the sway bar up and down to verify that’s where the noise is coming from. I thought it was my shocks...
It seems to be fixed now. I’m running the 17.2 beta and has been working fine now. Before it would almost never connect on the first try. The odd part is it was working for all my rental cars for work flawlessly including a 4XE wrangler
I noticed that turning off traction control helps in traffic. I travel all through the Houston area for work and am in constant traffic that goes from dead stop to 60 to dead stop in 100 yards and repeat.
I did the rubber seal on mine and haven’t had any issues. It’s been on there for over a year and no leaks. I’m in Houston and we typically get a lot of rain.
That is the dumbest thing I’ve ever heard. Safe firearm handling will mean never having a negligent discharge. Working with firearms for over 20 years in the military with 4 combat tours in Iraq, law enforcement and currently working in federal firearm compliance (where I have found numerous...
Stock overland springs with the Teraflex 1.5” spacers. With the bumper and skid plate it still had a good 1.5” of rake. The rock krawler springs have it perfectly level.
I just installed the Rock Krawler 1.5 springs. I went from the Teraflex leveling kit, and this is night and day difference. The handling is 10X better, especially with the fox 2.0 adventure series.
I’m thinking of doing the synergy 2” front and 1” rear. After adding the steel bumper and skid plate, the 1.5” spacer ended up being a half inch gain in the front.
They are the Cooper Discover ATP 2. They are similar to the XLT but made for discount tire. They are great tires. 275/70/18 but measured at 33.25. They are super quiet and fantastic on the road.
I did, but only because mine got dented up. I went with the fox, but there wasn’t that much of a difference. I’m still on the aluminum steering box, drives perfect.
I’m not an expert by any means, but the fact that the Steer Smarts track bar is solid and weighs 3 times the factory, plays a roll. It helps keep the lateral sway minimized since it centers the axle, attaching to the frame and axle. That was the reason I upgraded, but it was a nice surprise. I...
