For wet roads only it would seem like overkill. Trac lock helps to put power down is one side is on a slick surface. Ended up with a mild snow/ice winter but it was a sure footed combo w/ A/T tires, trac lock, and selec-trac. Very happy with to combo so far.

Full time option was big reason I delayed buying off the lot and went through the long wait for a build. Looking forward to getting more miles and a better feel overall.

Picked up a 2021w/ Selec-Trac yesterday. CV’s up front. Clearly haven’t done much with the new beast yet. Drives well. Transfers into 4wd full time easily. No low speed binding and tire scrub when active. Not looking to do serious off-road duty but plenty of rough roads and beach runs. Also...

I've got one on order as well. Curious if it uses CV's vs typically U-joints. If so what are there changes to the driving dynamics, feel, etc?
