  1. Be careful buying used Gladiator parts

Apparently the local pick up in the ad was used as another confidence builder, it worked on me... I figured if he was selling for pick up or shipping it felt more legit. I'm guessing someone else got scammed by him as well and that's why he got banned. My guess is he was using PMs to "sell"...
  2. Be careful buying used Gladiator parts

Yep, not the smartest thing I've done :-(
  3. Be careful buying used Gladiator parts

Good idea. Couldn't find a link to get a hold of a site admin so I used the "contact us" link at the bottom of the page.
  4. Be careful buying used Gladiator parts

Well, apparently I was scammed by a member (or stolen account of a member?) as he promised shipping info today and I logged in to see that he has been banned :-( 20+ years of buying stuff on line and this is the first time, shame my lessen in trust cost me $1500. The listing offered local pick...
  5. Falken at4w 35x11.50r17

I've been running them for a couple thousand miles now, very happy with them so far.
  6. New 2023 Gladiator: Road Trip to Alaska

Driving the Gladiator up when I retire, likely 2026 or 27. Plan on pulling our small camper (~4500lbs loaded) and staying a couple months.
  7. Falken Wildpeak A/T4W | NOW Available at DTC

Another Weight distro not hooked up, just moving it around the house.
  8. Falken Wildpeak A/T4W | NOW Available at DTC

Sorry, not great photos, all I have on my phone.
  9. How much should I ask for Rubicon take off wheels, tires, & flairs?

Not a for sale listing, I'll advertise locally. If I can't ask the question, moderators please remove the post. I just put a set of Method Bead Grip wheels, 35/11.5r17 Wildpeak 4s, rock rails, and flat fenders on the wife's Gladiator. I'm going to list the take off parts locally but don't...
  10. Falken Wildpeak A/T4W | NOW Available at DTC

No issues with the tire winch or the keeper going through the center, it fits well. The outside of the rim goes up so the part of the rim that faces outward is fully protected. Even the back side is relatively protected by the sidewall bulge of the tire; If you came down hard on a pointy rock...
  11. Falken Wildpeak A/T4W | NOW Available at DTC

Yes, fit with plenty of room, doesn't touch the heat shield but it's close to it. Used the Tazer JL to adjust the speedometer and 34.79" was the setting needed to make it spot on. Running 38 psi but looks like it should be a bit lower, I'll give it a couple hundred miles and take a look.
  12. Falken Wildpeak A/T4W | NOW Available at DTC

Just installed a set of Wildpeak AT4s in 35/11.5R17 on a new set of Method bead grip 17x8.5s. Did all five as I plan on rotating the spare in. Only about 80 miles so far but first impressions are very good. On a side note: I don't know if it was the tires, the bead grip wheels or some...
  13. Coverking Topliner - Review & Install

Installed this weekend. Used many of the tips in this thread to include using extra 3M double sided tape and 80mil sound mat. Had to do some trimming here and there but it was a pretty straight forward install. Very happy with the results, wife drove it in today, temps in the negatives all...
  14. New member saying hello

Any recommendations on leveling the front/making up for the bumper & winch?
  15. New member saying hello

Both looks and 35s for now, maybe 37s later (likely need gears so that will be a few years out) Forgot her last jeep on the list, I built her a TJ with long arms, lockers, 35s, etc... we sold it about 5 years ago and she has missed it. It had flat fenders and we liked the looks and clearance!
  16. New member saying hello

Scrambler was my daily for many years with some minor mods along the way. It's stuck in project limbo behind a couple of muscle car builds. I started a v8 conversion (TPI 350) with a M465/dana 300 and have one ton axles under it (14 rear 60 front, both with 4:56 Detroit lockers), high steer...
