I paid that much to regear to 4.56’s with Dana gears. But that also included $1,500 in (2)Truetrac differentials. $3700 for ring and pinions(Yukon at that) only is highway robbery.
I’ve been running them for 4 years. No problem. Here they are. Overland in Rubicon suspension with only a 3/4” Daystar spacer. Have since changed suspension but this is how it sat with that setup.
Looks like the same Chinese thing quadratec sells and they rate it for 5,000 and 500lb tongue. You never said what the tongue weight of the trailer is. Your truck is rated for 4,500. For slow and short distances I would CONSIDER doing 5,200 with the Mopar hitch but not that thing. Tow...
It was a rental. We liked it but are leaning towards a Grand Designs 21BHE if we pull the trigger. The Apex had a loud A/C. The 21BHE has ducted A/C, taller ceilings and a lower hitch weight despite being a heavier trailer with better quality materials. But the 208bhs pulled great and was a...
Hoping someone could help. Already have a Mojave suspension on my Overland with an aftermarket Fox hydraulic bump. Putting a lift kit on this weekend and I need to adjust the bump stop. I have multiple pads to choose from and the bumps are adjustable as well.
Could someone with a stock Mojave...
Just go on one of the many discount Mopar part sites and buy a new cover. You might be surprised how reasonable they are. OEM Chrysler leather seat bottom was under $300 shipped for my wife’s car.
Outlaw Offroad in Charlotte near the airport did a decent job for me. Regeared to 4.56 with Spicer gears and Eaton Truetracs. Had an issue with a product and they took care of it, above and beyond. Go see Wes there.
Food for thought. Just because it looks stock doesn’t mean it always was. It was sold to Carmax with 15k on it. Previous owner could have lifted but wanted to change trims and pulled the aftermarket back off of this one while half assed reinstalling the stock equipment or worse used...
I have 2 of the 3.0 in our Pacifica and Gladiator. Liked them so much I bought a 5.0 for my EV6. The 3.0s were buggy at first but after updates they have been flawless for about 2 years now. I bricked one during an update after a few emails they sent a new one. Great support for an off brand...
I have 285/75/17 on my gas Overland. Regeared to 4.56 with Tru Tracs and the difference in the truck is very noticeable. Drives better (more pep, less hunting) little better mileage (not enough to pay for the upgrade though).
To me it was worth it. Feels better than it was stock(32”/3.73) and...
You’ll want a small spacer if you off-road. I had the slightest rub at full articulation on an overland with rubicon suspension, 1.5 spacer but a winch and bumper pulling it down a bit.
