So I should start off by saying, I ended up selling my truck to move to a different vehicle. But some insights from when I had this setup.
- Decked system for me wasted a huge amount of space in the bed. You get locking storage, sure. But I felt like I was always finding things that did not...
Yeah, still selling. $800 is a hell of a deal considering I paid double that just a few months back for everything. Come on down, I'll throw in some good beer ;)
I still run stock wheels/tires and have no interest in going bigger. I _might_ change out the wheels, but only for a different look, and honestly I like the stock Rubi wheels.
It works OK. The decked system is something I'm actually trying to sell. It is just too restrictive for me, and I'm finding I need the open bed with actual side rails. I don't hunt or fish, so the hyper-storage thing actually doesn't work too well. I like how it locks though.
Decided to sell my Decked system. It is about a month old. Just doesn't work for my needs. Asking $1000. It includes the bolt-on top rail system from Decked, 4 clips, a wide box, narrow box and a wide divider. Really needs to be someone fairly local to me (Sacramento, CA) as shipping this is...
Definitely a good though, but the deflections were happening with the towers off unfortunately. When I had them looser, the pads actually moved. There might be a tightness level between "move" and "crush" but I missed it lol. I'm thinking shims might be the way to go :)
I just got the Yakima Overhaul HD adjustable bed rack and installed it on my 2021 Gladiator. To make it so the landing pads don't move, I've had to clamp it down to the point where it is causing visible deflection of the top of the bed rails. Not only does that kind of suck in terms of damaging...
Stock Rubi here, really no plans to lift it further. Maaaaybe if I could be convinced it would improve ride quality but honestly I like the current look and the ride has improved drastically with a Decked system in back.
Still figuring out what to do with mine. Was thinking of putting "Rackbar" as the truck's nickname is Admiral Rackbar. I'm a sucker for both Star Wars and stupid puns.
Had my 2021 Sting Gray Rubicon delivered last Friday. Pretty much base, just has the rubber mats & sound deadening on the roof, and tow package. Auto/V6. Haven't had much time to mod or even drive it yet but looking to overland it mostly. Just ordered up some hood locks & other little sundry...
