The pedal travel is feeling much more normal after a couple of days, and the pedal force is very normal. more than a stock JT but comparable to my wife's JK or other similar trucks.

I think technically the stock clutch is a dual disc, but the second clutch disc is encased in the pressure plate somehow.

With the exception of the gear indicator, I think you could probably get a JK NSG370 and JK 241or to work in a JT with minimal effort. get ready to cut a hole in the floor though!

I really enjoy my 6 speed, but my Fathers Recon extreme JL with 4.56 gears and the 8 speed auto is pretty hard to beat. If I were to order one again, I would have a very hard time giving up the max tow package in trade to keep the 6MT.
