Why does it always feel like the Gladiator is the ugly stepchild for Jeep?

I wish that was the case but I’ve had dealers tell me they won’t stock the Ecodiesel because of problems with the gen 1 and 2. They don’t trust the redesign.

Jeep Chrysler should have named the 3rd gen something else or changed the displacement slightly to 3.2. Everyone has heard the horror stories of the earlier models and assumes it’s unchanged

I went and test drove a few Gladiators today. I wasn’t planning on driving an Ecodiesel but after doing so it just feels like the correct engine for the Gladiator. I’m seriously considering it now. It’s an expensive option but may well be worth it!
