M.O.R.E. hide a step. They are expensive for just 1 though. I would go that route with Rubi rails, as other add on sliders like ACE will just add weight to it (including rails).

If your shocks extend beyond 28”, you will need a front driveshaft. MC Rocksports are 30”... Fox 4.5-6 equivalent. I would do MC 3.5 for 35’s as the Clayton 2.5 is taller than MC. You can also do lightweight 37’s like Cooper AT3 ATX at 68lbs...Its lighter than some 35’s.

Finally finished my wheel rings. Anodized red. Lift, wheels, tires, Zeon 10s, Ps Bumper , JWS fogs...all going in next week (only if I receive all my Metalcloak goods by Fri).

What is everyone’s thought on tires with the Metalcloak Lift. I want to get maximum articulation.

My wife told me she’s gonna order me JKS with fox shocks and core4x4 arms today (she didn’t know I already made the Metalcloak purchase). I called up MC and they said the kit is almost prepared and should ship out in a couple days. I should receive it late next week or early the week...

@Andrew05LJR and @CG32 i just did more research and found several full size pickups get over twice the estimated mileage warranty of 45k. Some nearing 100k. I’m gonna check with American Tire Depot and the Dealership this Saturday for availability in 37x12.5r17.

@Andrew05LJR I’m also considering the Toyo RT’s. Their AT2 treated me well and I prefer Toyo’s over my previous set of KO2’s which lasted over 60k miles. Too bad that the AT3’s don’t come in 37’s. My other option are coopers at3 atx.

@j.o.y.ride do you have a side profile of your Jeep? I’m on the fence with 37’s and 35’s.

I just called in to place my order but the 37x12.5r17 Nitto Ridge Grapplers are on National Backorder. I waited 2 months on Toyo At2 (national backorder) before giving up and went with KO2’s instead a couple years back. Not gonna wait on tires again.

Just a heads up, American Tire Depot is having a promotion right now. October 2020... not sure if it would last the whole month. Going to pay them a visit this weekend as I do have my Metalcloak lift arriving this month.

I’m leaning towards incorrect install. They probably just slapped it on without doing any prep work (light sanding/acetone).

I’m glad that your happy with it. I was close to getting JKS and Rustys. I chose this kit because of the UCA caster correction as opposed to the LCA on other kits and it’s more complete (brake line extension, bumpstops, and shock relocation up front). I might even get the LCA for even less...
