Exactly, no guarentees, but it is about providing "disensentive" which will deter many theives...No disensentives you may get more of them. Some of this depends on where one lives and where you leave your car unattended...But even in the nicest neighborhood, every once in awhile the Dirt bags...

A few comments: I hardly think a hood lock and gas cap lock qualify as luxuries - right? I had them on my first car ever which I paid 100$ for in the 1970's :)...At the very least they should have them as an option (esp the hood lock) for us folks into "Luxuray" ;-). This isn't rocket science...

Well, I posted about this happening when folks were putting in last few '21 orders whan some dealers (like mine) said it was too late and others said they can still get it...So unfortunatly, not surprised. Some dealers are have no scrupples, they figure take your money, they can always upsell...
