  1. Right side Cam kit no delay

Yep, parts have been readily available since fall. Hopefully, it stays that way.
  2. How to get a RTT or camper cover off without death or injury

The RTT sits too high even with flat tires. LOL thats one of the reasons I’m trying to get the tent off is to swap out the mounting system. Is so that I can lower it. I did reach out to “rollinJack” and left a message to call back. And I agree that this is a good reason to have “strong back...
  3. Cold start rough idle and sometimes 303 code

Be thankful, you had the easier passenger side bank cover.
  4. Cold start rough idle and sometimes 303 code

I hate it for you. It not what you wanted to see, but now you know.
  5. 68661147AA - Right Side Intake Camshaft

I’d bet that in typical stealership style, if they could prove it’s only one valve tapping, they’d only replace the one. I will say, I got lucky that my local dealership did the whole passenger side bank, put it back together, and then noticed it still had a slight tick/the start of a tick on...
  6. 68661147AA - Right Side Intake Camshaft

I always replace all related parts. There is a tsb about lash adjusters causing tick so apparently they have had lash adjuster issues. Don't replace only the followers for a single cylinder. Cam and all followers and lash adjusters and be done. Not enough info to say the new parts are an...
  7. Cold start rough idle and sometimes 303 code

Maybe you have a bad/loose engine ground causing a weak spark and the occasional no start. Funny how it showed on number 3 though. I once had a similar issue on my 5.0 Ford. After exhausting all plugs and coils possibilities, I did a fuel injector test. I lost 75 rpms by turning off each fuel...
  8. Cold start rough idle and sometimes 303 code

58psi is great. I was thinking that if you had low fuel pressure, cold starts would be rough and even cause a no start. If you had a vacuum leak or an issue with the O2 sensors, I would suspect a p0420 code or related by now.
  9. Cold start rough idle and sometimes 303 code

And it will be there because it takes about 3 key starts or cycles without a misfire for it to disappear. So if it misfires, it sets the MIL (IF it's requested to be set and many times a misfire doesn't even set the MIL if it's transient) And that MIL will stay there for something like 3 shut...
  10. Cold start rough idle and sometimes 303 code

Sure, swap engines. You can't just swap followers - there's cams, lash adjusters as well. Likely the older pre-upgrade lash adjusters won't fit in the heads, so now you have a head swap......................... IMO - the valve covers should have come off first. It would seem to have been a...
  11. What did you do TO your Gladiator today? [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS, NO GUN TALK]

I was thinking about maybe lifting the bags up using your hardtop hoist to lift the bags
  12. Pennsylvania Hard Top

Hard top off of my 2020 Gladiator with defrost and siding window. Purchased new and switched to a soft top. The glass leaked soon after purchase and it was fixed under warranty. Always garage kept. The hoist can be included in the purchase. $2,000 Pick up only, located in Pennsylvania, 15425
  13. So for those with Overlander rigs, questions..

...years, most of which it was still just called car camping. If your garage can accommodate your truck with a RTT attached, and you can add a hoist to remove it, it's a relatively simple process for 1-2 people to remove and reinstall most RTTs. If not, I'd recommend a gantry crane outside...
  14. Bestop and Jeep have totally dropped my case. BEWARE

...of the door opening. Then - compare those measurements to another Jeep where a top fits perfectly. Gantry crane is a bit bulky, the chain hoist is off of it so it would need to be lifted up and put back on it (requiring a ladder), then moving the gantry crane into the shop...
  15. 392 Gladiator V8 Hemi confirmed by Jeep CEO!

Wow, of all the folks on here I figured you would have a lift.
  16. 392 Gladiator V8 Hemi confirmed by Jeep CEO!

...when I try to lay under something to work on it. Even changing oil is a real challenge these days. I actually used a gantry crane and chain hoist. It allowed almost complete assembly, including most wiring, installation of the front differential, front driveshaft, transmission, transfer...
  17. Swapping out 3.6 for the turbo 4 ?

All of this is why I pointed out it would cost at least the same as a hemi swap, so why go 2.0t over a 5.7L or 6.4L? Nearly double the hp and much better low end torque going with the v8. There's a reason why nobody is marketing a 2.0t swap. Unless you scored a free or nearly free JL with a...
  18. Swapping out 3.6 for the turbo 4 ?

Great job looking that up. I figured there would be something different didn't imagine it being that drastic. But yep the entire drivetrain wow that would be a monumental undertaking for anyone without alot of tools, lift, hoist etc.. The torque coverters are even different

Maybe that’s something for me to consider. Thanks.
