  1. Need contraption for back half hardtop lifting / holding

I repurposed my Harken Hoist from holding my Wrangler JK. But I used some ideas from this thread to change how I hung the hard top. I bought another one of these hoists to be able to pull my wife's Wrangler top of, that's a project for this weekend. 2011 Jeep Top My 2020 Gladiator, just...
  2. NH Jericho JT Takeover 4x4 BOH Trail Ride and Mt. Washington Gladiator's On Top 2025

I have my hi-lift and axe loaded also. Had to remove the chainsaw. No room. Reseated my hoist rope and tested my under hood compressor. I think I've got everything but my food and spare undies packed.
  3. Rain Gear

I hear ya…. I don’t have room to store the hard top or hard doors anywhere. We take the hard top off often via a hoist and leave it hanging (above the jeep) and put it back on. The Sunrider is a nice option, however…. #1) I don’t want to install and un-install each time I want to remove the...
  4. Need a shock upgrade?

Why don’t you use your fox 2.5’s that came stock on your Mojave? Oh wait…it’s a Rubicon with Mojave orange, you blasphemer, you! The horror! 😂 All seriousness, beautiful Jeep! I have used the Bilstein 5100’s on numerous vehicles and have always been happy with them. I have a set on my dually...
  5. Need a shock upgrade?

I'm personally looking at the MC Rocksport Blacks. Pricey, but they look like they're built better than most everything at the same price point. Plus, I've been very satisfied with everything I've purchased from MC in the past.
  6. Need a shock upgrade?

...just a bit? Was thinking about the Fox 2.5 non res. shocks or maybe the Falcon's but this they might not play nice with my Genright inners. Not going to be doing any fast offroad stuff mainly just limited street driving and trailering it to off road areas. Close up is on a hoist at full droop.
  7. Got the top off the floor…

I recycled the manual Harken Hoist I used for my former Wrangler's hardtop. Easy one man job.
  8. Got the top off the floor…

It’s offset to clear the opener…. It needed to be right next to the opener for placement when we back the jeep in the garage. The hoist sits right above where the top is….. We have a mark (piece of tape) on our black cabinet that‘s the centerline of the hoist (per say). We use that as a...
  9. Got the top off the floor…

Mine would have to be a similar set up because of the garage door. I see your lift is offset. Is it harder to get the top on and off and does it swing on you? I would do this, but I am looking for a one person option and I don't think this would work.
  10. Got the top off the floor…

How high is your ceiling and how easy is the process? I wouldnt mind to do something similar
  11. What did you do TO your Gladiator today? [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS, NO GUN TALK]

First really nice day up here in Wisco that I had off so you know I had to get my hoist up and running and get those doors off
  12. Got the top off the floor…

We have a hoist trolly setup on the ceiling. The top will hang from the hoist …and we park underneath it. THe hoist has a ’brake’ in case it fails. Another reason why we put the ass-end under it instead of the front. We haven’t been worried about it falling……. It’s a quick process.
  13. Foam under intake manifold

...I built a set of stairs to my garage loft (since replaced with far better stairs) using salvaged deck lumber and so on. I built my engine hoist, engine stand, table with all of my plating equipment.......... I had my Case tractor injectors turned up and the engine "tuned" a bit for more...
  14. Hard Top Removal With Bed Roll Bar?

Close - bike hoist from Menards. Two of them. One for the rear, one for the front - cabled up with paracord and some pulleys I had one hand, going to a cheap boat winch on the wall. Takes minutes - unbolt top, lift it up, drive away. Back into the garage, lower top, bolt it on.
  15. Hard Top Removal With Bed Roll Bar?

@ShadowsPapa those hoists look like a bike hoist I have from Harbor Freight.
  16. Hard Top Removal With Bed Roll Bar?

I'm going to bet you'll either want to rig up some hoist like mentioned above or use 2 ladders, lift it up over the roll bar, and then walk it off the way you have been. Or just put lights on the front bumper or cowl mounts and don't bother with it.
  17. Hard Top Removal With Bed Roll Bar?

Huh, my Gladiator comes standard with a roll bar.
  18. Hard Top Removal With Bed Roll Bar?

...doors. Before I place an order for these things, does anyone here have a roll bar and still remove your hard top? How do you do it without a hoist system? Currently my wife and I pick it up from both sides and walk it across the bed when removing it, but we're not quite tall enough to lift...
  19. Warranty Denied Due to Modifications

Exactly. I know some dealers will ignore that fact (because they sell such things) while others prefer not to touch something that's not stock. We have both types here. Ironically, the dealer I use that prefers to work only on bone-stock stuff, happily works on mine, knowing very well what I've...
  20. Warranty Denied Due to Modifications

...Secondly, again, I feel like I'm being uncleared, I do not believe OP's warranty is being denied, per se, I believe the dealer put it on a hoist, saw the lift, and said nope, not doing that. My duties were not to approve or disprove individual claims from customers, it was to approve or deny...
