...added floor liners/mats and locking hood hinges.
Plan for now is to just add a soft top for the summer and seat covers until the extendedwarranty is up
I am not new to Jeeps.
I used to wheel a 1990 YJ that I bought when I was in school
Also had a 1987 YJ I bought later on when the 1990...
I want to thank everyone on this forum for the explanation of the “death wobble” or “steering wander”. I purchased a used 2020 Gladiator rubicon completely stock with 27k miles on it. I have driven numerous jeeps previously but this one has a slight wander when I was driving, no matter what...
My answer is E) All of the above.
Requirements from the owner's manual:
1. Change oil and filter
2. As indicated by Oil Change Indicator System (do not ignore; it can illuminate sooner than MAX mileage); can trigger as early as 3,500 miles; if triggered, change oil & filter ASAP, within next...
If the extendedwarranty that you have covers shocks then they should be able to replace. I had one front shock replaced by the dealer under my extended Mopar Max Care warranty due to the shock leaking oil. The dealer will have to determine that the shocks have failed for the extendedwarranty...
...People are buying new 2024's for what you are getting offered for that total buyout of your 2023.
Edit: You should be able to get a prorated refund for any extendedwarranty you may have purchased. Usually the selling dealership finance person should be able to help you navigate that if needed.
What does the extendedwarranty say about shocks? Are they a warranty item (covered) or a wear item (not covered)? Isn't there a list in all the paperwork about what is and is not covered?
Just skimmed the first page. Some of these ideas are vanishingly unlikely (5.7l + manual), impossible (diesel returns), or are in "two potential buyers actually care" category (power steering pump).
If my goal is to move product and make money I'd do, in order:
1) Lower pricing, enough with...

Thank you for the advice. You are absolutely correct! Now I feel stupid, I should have looked at
the window sticker numbers. The numbers are exactly as you say. Now you know why I'm not
an accountant. ;)
Ok, I'll ask for more advice...Most likely the dealer will give me the hard sell on an...
I waited until the factory warranty was ending and then reached out to Grainger and Zach was able to get me the best price on an extendedwarranty up to 100,000 miles. Even with the rules in Florida, Zach got it done. Starting at zero miles again, but at 34-35,000 miles I will be reaching out to...
Would only be worth it's salt if you had plans that paid at least partial on vehicles drive train s up to 150,000 . All of y'all are all the same want people to buy coverage at much lower mileage when predominantly it doesn't even come into play
...First, I want to say thank you for your support through the last 3-4 years as our dealership has grown and more specifically our ExtendedWarranty sales. I wanted to take a moment to give a quick recap of where we've been.
The Beginning - In March of 2022 we launched our ExtendedWarranty...
I fill to 6 quarts intentionally, and use 0w40 or 5w40 oil. No crank strike at 6qts. No negatives at all from filling to 6 quarts, only positives. The factory transition from 6 to 5 quart fill directive was based on environmental scoring targets, not for any engineering purpose. This is true...
Bob - thx for sharing! I leaning in the same direction of not running any unless absolutely needed and typically here in VT, temps like -13 to 2F are not the norm for extended periods of time.
On a side note, I did come across an interesting article that points to the real issues with HPFP pump...
